Fresh off his successful world title defense at WWE Money in the Bank, Roman Reigns has a blunt message for anyone disputing his legacy: go ahead and complain.
Opening Saturday night’s premium live event at the Smoothie King Center in New Orleans, Louisiana, “The Tribal Chief” put his WWE World Championship on the line against LA Knight in a grueling main event clash. Despite a ferocious challenge from “The Megastar” that brought the live crowd to its feet, Reigns ultimately secured the victory by hitting a devastating Spear to keep the gold firmly in his possession.
Shortly after the event concluded, Reigns took to social media to share a self-shot video addressing his detractors and cementing his place at the summit of professional wrestling.
“Maybe I’m delusional. Maybe I believe my shit too much. But can’t nobody touch me. I’m the greatest of all time baby. Now go bitch about that,” Reigns stated directly into the camera.
While Reigns continues to dismiss his critics, a new and formidable obstacle has emerged on the horizon. Following his victory in the men’s ladder match earlier in the night, “The Ruler” Oba Femi made it abundantly clear that he has his sights set squarely on Reigns and the championship.
