Spin The Wheel Match And Non-Title Clash Added To NXT Halloween Havoc Card

The match card for NXT Halloween Havoc continues to take shape following the October 20 episode of NXT on The CW, with two major bouts added to the October 31 lineup.

After Izzi Dame defeated Layla Diggs in singles competition, NXT Women’s North American Champion Zaria confronted Dame in the ring to address weeks of relentless psychological mind games. Dame has spent recent weeks digging into Zaria’s past, taunting her over a theatrical play she participated in when she was younger in an attempt to expose who the champion truly is.

Exhausted by the antics, Zaria offered to put her title on the line against Dame at Halloween Havoc. However, Dame threw a curveball by rejecting the title incentive, stating she would happily fight Zaria on October 31 without the belt being at stake—seemingly keeping the bout non-title.

Elsewhere on the card, Zilla Fatu made his return following an injury suffered at the hands of BirthRight. Fatu exacted immediate revenge by costing Lexis King and Charlie Dempsey their spot in the Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic semifinals. In a backstage segment later in the broadcast, Fatu declared that despite his hand injury, he will face Dempsey at Halloween Havoc and announced the return of the iconic “Spin the Wheel, Make a Deal” match concept.

The October 20 broadcast also featured a video message from NARAKU addressing his ongoing feud with Shiloh Hill. NARAKU stated that while Hill is attempting to figure out how to prepare for the various colors of mist he could be sprayed with, he is not ready for the lethal black mist NARAKU plans to unleash. NARAKU warned that he will bring out the black mist when he officially faces Hill at Halloween Havoc.
