The Wagner Brothers and Hank and Tank advance to the semifinals of the NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic, setting up an October 27 matchup.
The road toward crowning the next tournament winners continued as the 2026 NXT Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic moved forward during the October 20 episode of WWE NXT on The CW, locking in the next round of matchups.
Two more tag teams successfully advanced to the tournament semifinals following high-stakes action. AAA World Tag Team Champions The Wagner Brothers, consisting of Galeno and El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr., picked up a victory over BirthRight (Lexis King and Charlie Dempsey) to secure their spot in the next round.
Later in the night, Hank Walker and Tank Ledger—collectively known as Hank and Tank—bested The Creed Brothers (Julius Creed and Brutus Creed) to punch their own ticket to the semifinals.
With both teams advancing, the bracket has set up a massive showdown: Hank and Tank will officially square off against The Wagner Brothers on the upcoming October 27 episode of NXT on The CW.
