WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray has officially weighed in on the booking warfare ahead of Survivor Series, naming the ultimate superstar to round out the battle against The Bloodline.
With the newly formed 946 stable still needing one final member to complete their 5-on-5 WarGames lineup, the ECW legend firmly dismissed popular internet theories surrounding Drew McIntyre, calling them a complete disconnect.
Speaking on the latest episode of “Busted Open,” the wrestling icon explained that adding the Scottish Warrior would feel completely forced. Instead, Bully Ray heavily pushed for LA Knight joining 946 as the only logical creative choice. The veteran detailed how Solo Sikoa recently betrayed Knight’s trust by breaking his promise and crawling back to Roman Reigns’ reunited family on television, giving the Megastar the perfect storyline motivation to seek immediate revenge inside the double cage.
While LA Knight joining 946 might force the massive babyface into a darker role, Bully Ray argued it wouldn’t need to be a definitive, permanent heel turn like John Cena’s shocking betrayal of Cody Rhodes. Instead, Knight could easily cut promos explaining that Solo Sikoa’s lies forced his hand, creating a complex storyline. As the road to Houston heats up, fans are eagerly waiting to see if WWE management listens to the Hall of Famer and locks in this explosive addition to the match card.
