RAW Superstar Dragon Lee has officially secured his future with WWE after coming to terms on a new long-term contract extension.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Lee and WWE management recently finalized negotiations on a fresh agreement. While exact details and duration remain undisclosed by the company, internal rumors indicate that the new deal is believed to be a five-year contract extension, locking in the high-flying luchador through late 2031.
Lee originally joined WWE in late 2022, starting his tenure on the NXT brand where he captured the NXT North American Championship. After transitioning to the main roster the following year, he officially joined the Latino World Order on Monday Night RAW in March 2024. During his main roster run, Lee has established a solid resume, holding the World Tag Team Championship alongside AJ Styles for 70 days.
This long-term commitment follows public advice from WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque, who emphasized Lee’s importance to the promotion’s future plans while encouraging him to preserve his health:
“Dude, f***** badass. Hey, do me a favor, though. That table bump? Keep that sh special. That’s a now-and-then one. I need you here long-term, not short-term.”
Lee has remained a focal point of RAW’s midcard scene throughout 2026, actively chasing the Intercontinental Championship. His most recent opportunity came on this week’s episode of RAW, where defending champion Chad Gable retained the title in a Triple Threat match involving Lee and Rey Mysterio. With a new multi-year deal locked into place, WWE creative is expected to continue building momentum behind the luchador as a key long-term asset.
