Bron Breakker was involved in a frightening spot during a WWE live event over the weekend, taking an awkward fall directly onto his neck and upper back.
Despite the terrifying landing, Breakker was remarkably able to complete the match, though his current medical status remains unconfirmed.
Ugly Turnbuckle Botch Caught On Camera
The incident occurred during WWE’s live event on October 17, where Breakker joined forces with Bronson Reed and Austin Theory to face off against the babyface team of Oba Femi, LA Knight, and Penta. While the fan-favorite trio ultimately secured the victory, video footage of a harrowing exchange between Breakker and Knight quickly began circulating online.
Breakker was attempting to set up LA Knight for his signature top-rope Frankensteiner—a high-flying maneuver he has executed successfully on countless occasions. However, Knight slipped out of position just as Breakker leaped toward the turnbuckle, disrupting the momentum of the move.
Losing his footing on the top rope, Breakker tumbled backward and crashed onto the canvas in a dangerous fashion, landing heavily on his neck and upper-body area. The official immediately rushed to his side to conduct an in-ring check.
Current Status Following The Match
While the footage made for tough viewing, Breakker demonstrated immense toughness by finishing out the remainder of the contest.
Although finishing the bout is an encouraging indicator, neither WWE officials nor Breakker have provided an official update regarding whether he sustained a neck injury during the fall.
