Big Cass Speaks Out On WWE Booking Criticism And Secret Triple H Meeting

Former Tag Team Champion Big Cass addresses his WWE booking after returning in August 2026, silencing widespread speculation regarding his recent string of losses and revealing details from a personal conversation with WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque.

Cass made his surprise return to Raw this past summer following a multi-year stint in AEW, kicking off his run with a rivalry against Je’Von Evans. While he earned early victories, fans quickly noticed a shift in momentum as Cass suffered live event defeats to Evans alongside televised losses against Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee.

Speaking on The Sal Licata Show, Cass brushed off negative coverage from wrestling dirt sheets, confirming he recently spoke with Triple H to reiterate his commitment to doing business the right way after his previous tenure ended on poor terms:

“It’s funny. I just talked to Hunter about all this the other day. Just what you’re talking about, the dirt sheets and everything. I’m just coming back with the attitude of, I’m here to do business. I fell short of my own expectations as a professional the first time. I’m coming back to do business. I’m coming back to do things right. Whatever the company needs is what they’re going to get out of me.”

Embracing Any Card Position On Raw

Rather than venting frustration over his positioning, Cass made it clear that he will give total effort regardless of where creative places him on the show:

“Whether the company needs me to come out first every night and open the show, that’s what they’re going to get 100% of. If they need me to close the show, they’re going to get 100%. They need me to do the popcorn match, they’re going to get 100%. I’m there to do the best that I can with what they’re giving me and what they see in me. Their opinion is their opinion. Everyone’s always looking for a story and negative sells. Positive never sells.”

“I’m here for the ride, baby. I’m here to take this ride, do things right this time, put my head down, work hard, and do the best that I can with what I’m given and what’s expected of me. We’ll see where things go.”

Cass’s current creative arc has seen him form a new tag team alliance with Ethan Page on Raw. The duo clashed with Chad Gable and Dragon Lee on the October 26, 2026 edition of the red brand, where Gable and Lee ultimately secured the win.
