AEW Dynamite Grand Slam France Results – October 6 – Welcome to Wrestling Attitude’s coverage results for AEW Dynamite on October 6, taped from the Adidas Arena in Paris, France

Excalibur welcomed fans to AEW’s historic debut in France and ran down the lineup for Grand Slam from the Adidas Arena in Paris.

Bandido (c) vs. Kofi – ROH World Championship

Swerve Strickland and Prince Nana came out to support Kofi. Hangman Adam Page joined Brody King at ringside, keeping eyes on Swerve.

Page and Strickland eventually got into a shoving match at ringside, firing up the crowd. Back in the ring, Bandido hit the 21 Plex on Kofi and scored the pin.

Bandido showing respect before the bell set the tone. The match stayed solid throughout, and the finishing stretch landed well. Some fans felt Page and Swerve’s confrontation distracted from the finish, but their feud is big enough that it naturally bleeds into everything around it.

Clockwork Carnage Hype Video

A WrestleDream video package aired, narrated by Renee Paquette, breaking down the rules of the new Clockwork Carnage match. Eight wrestlers enter in timed intervals. Eliminations occur until all eight have entered, then a 15‑minute period begins where falls are counted. Most falls wins the match and the title can change hands without the champion being pinned.

Will Ospreay & Mike Bailey Comments

Renee Paquette stood with Will Ospreay and Speedball Mike Bailey. Ospreay acknowledged his history with Okada, noting he’s lost eleven of their thirteen matches. He said he needs to win tonight and admitted losing would hit his ego hard.

Ospreay explained Clockwork Carnage was his idea, combining the Casino Gauntlet and an Iron Man match. Bailey switched to French and said he wants in, revealing he has a qualifier on Collision. He promised he won’t hold back if they meet at WrestleDream.

Ospreay joked that Bailey already turned his back on him, then embraced the challenge. He closed by addressing the Paris crowd and saying The Billy Goat is ready to prove why he’s champion.

Samoa Joe vs. Jack Perry – Clockwork Carnage Qualifier

Perry climbed the turnbuckle, but Joe caught him with an enziguri. Perry spat in Joe’s face, and Joe responded with the Muscle Buster for the win.

Winner: Samoa Joe

Kazuchika Okada Promo

Okada said he’s been told his English is improving, but wanted to show Paris his French. He delivered a line insulting the city and asked if his French was good.

Okada said he plans to make history in Paris and joked the French will need to build a monument called The Arc de Okada. He told Ospreay to say goodbye to the AEW World Championship.

Jon Moxley & Gabe Kidd vs. Mark Davis & Jake Doyle

Davis rocked Kidd with a lariat and finished him with the Pendulum Piledriver.

Winners: Mark Davis & Jake Doyle

After the match, it was announced Moxley will defend the Continental Championship against Davis. Davis previously lost to Moxley in a Continental eliminator.

Chris Jericho vs. Nick Wayne Hype Video

A video package aired recapping Jericho vs. Wayne. Their rematch, taped earlier in the night, will air Saturday on AEW Grand Slam: France Collision.

Darby Allin (c) vs. Kyle Fletcher – AEW TNT Championship

Darby launched himself off the top turnbuckle and crashed into Fletcher through the timekeeper’s table, but the table didn’t break and both men hit hard. They ended up on the commentary desk, where Darby tried a Code Red. Fletcher countered and hurled Darby onto the French announce table.

Fletcher finally hit the Turnbuckle Brainbuster, landing awkwardly, but still dragged Darby back into the ring for a cover. The champion kicked out, blood dripping from his head. Fletcher targeted the wound with punches.

Darby sent Fletcher into the exposed turnbuckle and locked in the Scorpion Deathlock. Fletcher reached the ropes. Darby followed with two Coffin Drops to secure the win.

Young Bucks vs. The Dogs Hype Package

A video package aired for The Dogs vs. The Young Bucks ahead of their AEW World Tag Team Championship match on Collision Grand Slam France.

Queen Aminata Interview

Renee Paquette spoke with Queen Aminata before her first AEW Women’s World Championship match. Aminata greeted the crowd in French and said she was thrilled to compete in France after years in the United States. She said she came not just as Aminata, but as a wrestler ready to make an impact. She promised the French fans she would return to the U.S. as champion.

Mercedes Moné (c) vs. Queen Aminata – AEW Women’s World Championship

Aminata went for the Diving Double Foot Stomp, but Moné avoided it and hit a Lungblower. She followed with the Moné Maker for the win.

Thekla hit the ring and speared Moné. She set up for the Stomp, but Moné escaped and got hit with her own taunt instead. Thekla struck her spider pose as commentary hyped their WrestleDream title match.

Huge WrestleDream Announcement

A video package recapped the feud between The New Level and Swerve Strickland and Brodido and Adam Page. It was announced that both teams will meet for the AEW World Trios Championship in a 2‑Out‑of‑3 Falls match at WrestleDream.

Will Ospreay (c) vs. Kazuchika Okada – AEW World Championship

Ospreay removed his elbow pad and hit another Hidden Blade to finish Okada and retain the AEW World Championship.
