In a recent social media post, RUSH addresses his AEW return timeline suggesting that he may not return to television until 2027.
LFI leader RUSH has provided a brief update regarding his status with All Elite Wrestling, teasing that his return to company programming may not take place until next year.
“El Toro Blanco” has been absent from AEW television since competing against Jordan Cruz on an episode of AEW Collision in early July. Despite periodic absences since signing with the promotion in 2022, RUSH recently clarified online that injuries are not the reason behind his current hiatus, confirming he remains healthy and ready for competition.
Addressing a fan on social media on October 6 who asked when he would be coming back to AEW programming to target groups like the Don Callis Family, RUSH kept his response succinct.
“Maybe next year,” he wrote.
Responding to further fan speculation labeling him as “cooked” or complaining about creative usage, RUSH dismissed the discourse surrounding his status.
“RUSH is cooked? 🤣 I pay attention to the fanbase that wants to see me wrestle, I engage with my awaiting fans. I do want to wrestle for you all. BUT, don’t say im on twitter complaining, I don’t complain, I am the happiest man in the world spending time with my family, PERRO,” he added.
RUSH previously turned down suggestions from fans regarding a potential return to AAA, reiterating that his current focus remains exclusively with AEW.
