NXT Results – October 6, 2026 – Welcome to Wrestling Attitude’s live coverage of NXT for October 6, 2026, coming to you from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida!
The show opened with a video package spotlighting the 20‑Woman Number One Contenders Battle Royal for the NXT Women’s Championship, running through the field and the stakes for tonight’s main event.
Vic Joseph and Booker T welcomed viewers as Zilla Fatu and BirthRight were shown delivering messages to one another while making their way to the ring, setting the tone for the night ahead.
Zilla Fatu vs. Lexis King (w/ BirthRight)
The bell rang and Zilla immediately shoved King at the bottom of the entrance ramp. He bounced King’s face off the ring apron and cracked him with an overhand chop, then got right in the faces of Charlie Dempsey, Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo, Uriah Connors, and Arianna Grace at the ramp.
Zilla dropped King with a spinning back‑heel kick, then launched off the top rope with a crossbody that wiped out King, Connors, Stacks, and Dempsey as BirthRight tried to regroup on the outside. Zilla threw King back into the ring, but Dempsey and Stacks yanked him out again while King distracted the referee. Grace hopped onto the apron, and King caught Zilla with a knee to the midsection before hitting a dropkick through the ropes.
King yanked Zilla into the top rope and followed with a Blockbuster off the turnbuckles. He barked at Zilla while wearing him down in a sleeper, but Zilla powered free and tried to plant King with a sit‑out. King slipped out and fired off Yes Kicks, only for Zilla to shut him down with a Samoan Drop and a heavy clothesline.
Zilla draped King across the middle turnbuckle and smashed him with a charging headbutt, then knocked Dempsey off the apron. King caught Zilla with a superkick, but Zilla spiked King face‑first into the mat and finished him with Triple Z for the three.
Winner: Zilla Fatu
After the match, Stacks, Connors, and Dempsey swarmed Zilla. King handed Dempsey a chair and ordered him to use it. Dempsey drove the chair into Zilla’s midsection, then cracked it across his spine. On the outside, Dempsey hurled Zilla shoulder‑first into the ring steps. BirthRight then used the steps to trap Zilla’s thumb, wedging it between the back of the steps and the ring post as the beatdown continued.
Kelani Jordan, Chantal Monroe & Layla Diggs Backstage Segment
Backstage, Kelani Jordan was interviewed about tonight’s 20‑Woman Battle Royal and the chance to earn a shot at her NXT Women’s Championship. Jordan talked confidently about the field and what’s at stake, but Chantal Monroe interrupted her mid‑sentence to declare she would be the one winning the match.
Before Jordan could respond, Layla Diggs walked in and said she would be the one winning the battle royal. Jordan called both women desperate and walked off, leaving Monroe and Diggs staring each other down.
We’ll return after the break with more results from WWE NXT on October 6.
Dion Lennox Video Package / Cruz Montana Reaction
A video aired from Dion Lennox, where he said he finally understood why Cruz Montana’s story hit so hard after hearing it two weeks ago in the ring. Lennox said he uses his past to build a machine that can take hits and never run out of gas, and he’s not wasting the opportunity he has now. He talked about how his football career was mapped out for him — eating, sleeping, and studying plays — and said the sacrifices he made for football shaped his dreams.
Lennox said Montana is getting pats on the back for telling his story, but pointed out something “sad”: it took him two years to make it to NXT television, while it took Montana twenty.
Backstage, Montana watched the video on a monitor. Lizzy Rain approached him, and Montana gave her a few encouraging words ahead of tonight’s 20‑Woman Number One Contenders Battle Royal for the NXT Women’s Championship.
Hank Walker and Tank Ledger vs. Viktor Zanov and Shido Ash — Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round
Walker and Ash opened the match. The bell rang and they locked up, with Ash clamping on a submission before tossing Walker with a hip toss. Zanov and Ledger tagged in next, and Zanov muscled Ledger down to the mat.
Zanov hit a back elbow on Walker in the corner. Ash followed by sending Walker crashing into the mat and covering him, but Walker kicked out and rolled Ash up for another quick two. Backstage, Julius and Brutus Creed were shown watching closely to see who they’ll face in the quarterfinals.
Zanov re‑entered, but Walker caught him with a jawbreaker and tripped Ash off the apron. Zanov charged Walker in the corner, missed, and Walker tagged in Ledger. Ledger unloaded strikes on Zanov, hit a back suplex, then launched off the apron to wipe out both Ash and Zanov on the floor. Walker blasted Ash over the announce desk with a shoulder pounce, and Ledger hit a Swanton Bomb on Zanov back inside.
Walker tagged in and set up a double‑team, but Ash tripped Ledger from the outside and tagged himself in. Walker and Ledger flattened Ash with a flying shoulder tackle‑right hand combo. Walker followed with a spinning sidewalk slam, then hit a hip attack as Ledger dove out of the ring to take out Zanov again. Ledger tagged in, and they hit a double splash on Ash. They finished with a shoulder tackle‑into‑over‑the‑shoulder powerslam, and Ledger got the pin.
Winners: Hank Walker and Tank Ledger
Backstage Attack On Sean Legacy & Dorian Van Dux
Grayson Waller was shown making his way toward the ring, but the feed suddenly cut out. A video then appeared showing Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux laid out backstage. Uriah Connors panned the camera around to reveal BirthRight standing over them, with a garbage can lid and a chair on the floor next to the two fallen men — clear signs of the ambush.
The show goes to a commercial break. Results from the October 6 episode of WWE NXT will continue shortly.
Myles Borne, Grayson Waller, and Tony D’Angelo Confrontation
Myles Borne’s music hit and he made his way out. Borne said he’s done doing what’s expected of him and is now doing what’s best for himself. He said he deserves to be a champion, and what he did to Tavion Heights showed him what he’s capable of when he stops worrying about the fans and focuses only on himself. He said he’s unbreakable now. Waller cut in and said someone is finally listening and paying attention to him.
Tony D’Angelo’s music hit next. He told Waller it’s not over until he says so, but Waller fired back by asking where D’Angelo was during last week’s NXT Championship Open Challenge. D’Angelo said Waller would’ve made excuses about not being prepared if he had come out, and said he’s picking his spot. He promised there will be no room for excuses when he wins back the NXT Championship and called it his title. Waller pointed out D’Angelo wasn’t holding any title and suggested D’Angelo and Borne face off in a Number One Contender’s Match next week.
Borne stared at Waller, then suddenly turned and dropped D’Angelo with a right hand. Vic Joseph noted he believed Borne’s fist was loaded with an unseen foreign object.
The show heads to a commercial break. More WWE NXT results from October 6 are coming up next.
William Regal, EK Prosper & Robert Stone Backstage Segment
Backstage, William Regal told EK Prosper he fought with every ounce of spirit he had in last Tuesday’s NXT Championship match. Regal said Prosper has World Championship material written all over him. Prosper thanked him, but Regal’s attention shifted when he spotted Robert Stone.
Stone explained he needed replacements for Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux in the first round of the 2026 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic. Regal suggested slotting in Charlie Dempsey and Lexis King, noting that Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Uriah Connors were already eliminated. Stone took in Regal’s reasoning and agreed to the change.
Shiloh Hill vs. Naraku
The bell rang and they locked up. Hill muscled Naraku over with a bodyslam and kept him grounded in a side headlock, but Naraku slipped out and clamped on a side headlock of his own before whipping Hill down by the hair. Naraku rocked Hill with a shoulder tackle and a right hand, then cracked him with a headbutt. Both men charged and leveled one another with clotheslines.
Hill came off the middle rope with a clothesline that dropped Naraku. Naraku answered by snapping Hill off the top rope face‑first and driving him into the mat. He fired off repeated headbutts and chopped Hill across the chest, then hit a running senton and covered. Hill kicked out, and Naraku immediately transitioned into a crossface.
Hill crawled to the bottom rope for the break, but Naraku slingshotted him into the rope face‑first and followed with a sit‑out powerbomb. He went for another pin, Hill kicked out again, and Naraku hit a second senton. Naraku then tried to spit blue mist into Hill’s face, but Hill ducked and the mist blinded the referee, forcing a disqualification.
A second referee rushed in with a towel as Hill and Naraku brawled up the ramp with officials trying to pull them apart.
Winner: N/A (referee stoppage)
Kendal Grey Therapy Session
We then went to Kendal Grey in another therapy session. She reflected on her negative self‑talk and admitted that while she expected to hate therapy, it hasn’t been as bad as she thought. The therapist told her he believes this is a good stopping point, noting she has completed the three sessions she was required to attend.
Tokyo Bad Boys vs. Lexis King & Charlie Dempsey (w/ BirthRight) — Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic First Round
Dempsey and Kento started things off. The bell rang and they locked up, with Kento dropping Dempsey with a sharp dropkick. Takuma tagged in, and he and Kento hit a double back body drop on Dempsey. King tagged himself in, but Takuma lit him up with a chop and snapped off a hurricanrana. Kento returned and hit a crossbody off the top rope on King, then set up to springboard in with Takuma. Dempsey cut them off, knocking both men off the apron and throwing Kento back inside.
Backstage, El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. and Galeno Del Mal were shown watching as they waited to see who they’ll meet in the quarterfinals. Dempsey tagged in, but Takuma caught him with a Spanish Fly and followed with a 450 Splash.
They battled on the ropes, teetering for position, until Dempsey yanked Takuma off balance and drilled him with a back suplex to score the win.
Winners: BirthRight
The competitors for the 20‑Woman Number One Contenders Battle Royal then made their way to the ring.
