WWE NXT developmental talent Kam Hendrix (Anthony Luke) attempted to lean into his online bravado this week, but his social media confidence caught the attention of All Elite Wrestling’s resident battle-rapper, Max Caster.
Taking to Twitter/X on September 30, 2026, Hendrix posted a set of shirtless photos boasting about his “Killa Kam” persona. Attempting to build hype around his ongoing TV run, Hendrix captioned the post with a self-aggrandizing flex:
“Killa Kam only pulls baddies, you can only pull faddies, cuz I’m daddy ;)”
Max Caster Responds With Swift Six-Word Roast
The bold post quickly crossed promotional lines and landed on the timeline of former AEW World Tag Team Champion Max Caster.
Known for his scathing pre-match raps and relentless social media trolling, Caster did not bother escalating the situation into a lengthy feud or launching a multi-tweet thread. Instead, he simply quote-tweeted Hendrix’s photos with a single direct line:
“This guy is cringe, even for me.”
The short response instantly went viral across wrestling social media, with fans highlighting the irony of Caster—a performer who built his entire career around intentionally provocative and cringe-inducing humor—calling out another wrestler for over-the-top online swagger.
Caster’s Online History & Hendrix’s Developing NXT Run
Since debuting for the NXT brand earlier this year following his stint on WWE development programs, Hendrix has routinely used social media to amplify his “Killa Kam” character. His online strategy frequently relies on high-confidence photos, bold declarations, and exaggerated charisma as he continues to establish his footprint in the ring.
Caster’s quick shutdown highlights the ongoing trend of wrestlers interacting across company boundaries on public platforms. While there is no indication that the exchange signals any cross-promotional storyline or personal heat, Caster succeeded in turning Hendrix’s self-promotional attempt into one of the week’s most talked-about wrestling memes.
