It appears that Tessa Blanchard will no longer be making her expected debut with Major League Wrestling this week.
All references to the former Impact World Champion have been quietly removed from MLW’s official website, and she is no longer advertised for the upcoming Fightland event on September 12 in Charleston, South Carolina.
CMLL Statement & Digital Scrub
The development comes just days after Blanchard confirmed during an appearance on TMZ Sports’ Inside the Ring that she had agreed to join MLW.
Following her announcement, Mexican promotion CMLL released an official statement on September 4 clarifying that Blanchard had made no commitments to MLW beyond the single appearance on September 12.
Since then, MLW has systematically scrubbed Blanchard from its digital platforms:
- Roster Page Removal: Her profile has been completely taken down from the active roster page.
- Deleted Announcements: The official article announcing her arrival is no longer accessible on MLW.com.
- Match Card Updates: Promotional material for Fightland no longer lists her for the event.
While MLW has yet to issue a formal statement regarding her status, report details from PWInsider indicate that her planned appearance for the September 12 card is officially off.
Recent Ring Activity
The 31-year-old last competed for CMLL on Saturday, September 5, at Arena Coliseo in Mexico City. Blanchard teamed alongside India Sioux and Sanely in a six-woman tag team loss against Maika, Mei Seira, and Ema Maishima.
