
WWE NXT saw a notable increase in viewership on August 18, while TNA iMPACT! experienced a decline one day later. The latest television numbers provide a mixed picture for the two wrestling programs.
According to Wrestlenomics, WWE NXT averaged 683,000 viewers on The CW Network on Tuesday, August 18. That is an increase from the 588,000 viewers recorded by the show on August 11.
NXT also improved in the key 18-49 demographic. The August 18 episode recorded a 0.14 rating, compared with a 0.09 rating from the previous week.
That means NXT gained 95,000 viewers week over week, representing an increase of roughly 16.2%. The show’s 18-49 rating also improved by 0.05 points.

WWE NXT Ratings Rise as TNA iMPACT! Drops
TNA iMPACT!, meanwhile, went in the opposite direction.
The August 20 episode of TNA iMPACT! averaged 188,000 viewers on AMC. That figure is down from the 203,000 viewers recorded on August 13.
The decline represents a loss of 15,000 viewers from the previous week, or approximately 7.4%.
The 18-49 demographic figure for TNA iMPACT! was reported at 0.02 on August 20. This is lower than the 0.04 rating listed for the August 13 episode.
As a result, TNA iMPACT! also experienced a decline in the key demographic, dropping by 0.02 points week over week.
