TNA iMPACT! Results From August 20 – TNA Wrestling aired the August 20 episode of iMPACT! from the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia, PA, with the show broadcast on AMC. The night featured tournament action, faction drama, and a chaotic main event.
Mustafa Ali opened the show by addressing Jason Hotch. Ali said Hotch stabbed him in the back and announced Hotch would face John Skyler later in the night. Backstage, Hotch refused the match, but Daria Rae told him he would either wrestle Skyler or be suspended.
Rich Swann picked up a win over Mr. Elegance. After the match, The Righteous appeared and stared down BDE.
In the Knockouts Television Championship Tournament semifinal, Jada Stone defeated Heather by Elegance to advance.
Elayna Black FaceTimed Xia Brookside, telling her she planned to beat her up. The Elegance Brand later complained about their losses, but The Concierge promised they would win at Lockdown.
Brian Myers defeated Fabian Aichner in a Lethal Lockdown Advantage Match.
Harley Hudson FaceTimed with Traci Brooks, who offered encouragement ahead of her match.
Jason Hotch vs. John Skyler ended in a no contest when Agent Zero interfered. Ali then handed Hotch his Order 4 pin back.
The Righteous continued their pursuit of BDE, trying to recruit them.
Harley Hudson scored a win over Alisha Edwards. Eddie Edwards tried to help Alisha afterward, but Jada Stone ran them off.
A video package aired for Leon Slater vs. Cedric Alexander.
In the main event, Elijah, Moose, and The Hardys defeated AJ Francis, Frankie Kazarian, and The Nemeths. After the match, Cedric Alexander was found laid out backstage.
