LA Knight continues to push toward the World Heavyweight Championship, and AJ Styles believes the Raw star is more than prepared for that opportunity. Styles discussed Knight’s rise on the latest episode of The AJ Styles Show, offering strong praise for what Knight brings to WWE.
Styles said Knight has everything needed to carry the company as a top champion. He pointed to Knight’s in‑ring work, along with his presence on the microphone and in interviews, as reasons why he sees Knight as someone ready for the next step.
“I’ve never seen anybody more ready to be a champion right now than LA Knight,” Styles said. “I know I keep harping on this, but I can’t be the only one that thinks this way. He’s got all the tools.”
Styles added that Knight understands the responsibilities that come with being a champion.
“Give him the opportunity,” he continued. “He knows what comes with being a champion… When it comes to interviews and what you got to do to represent the WWE, he has those tools to be able to get it done and I think he’d do it flawlessly.”
Knight has been involved in the World Championship picture at different points over the past few years, including his challenge of Roman Reigns in 2023. His issues with The Bloodline resurfaced this year and led to a six‑man tag team match with The Usos at SummerSlam.
Knight has made it clear that becoming World Champion remains his main goal. He has also had multiple confrontations with Reigns on RAW as he continues his pursuit of the title.
