Jack Perry Re-Signs with AEW

After weeks of uncertainty surrounding his future, Jack Perry has officially re-signed with AEW, putting an end to speculation about his contract status.

The news was revealed during the Beach Break edition of Dynamite in a video package that aired late in the show. In the segment, Perry was shown signing a new deal with AEW President Tony Khan while also addressing his long-term goals. Among those ambitions, Perry made it clear that winning the AEW World Championship remains a top priority.

Perry did not appear live during the broadcast, but the video confirmed that he will remain with the company moving forward. The announcement comes shortly after reports indicated that his previous deal was set to expire soon, with no agreement in place at the time.

An AEW original, Perry has been part of the promotion since its earliest days. He made his debut at the inaugural Double or Nothing event, competing in the Casino Battle Royal. Early in his run, he found success as part of a tag team alongside Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt, with the group becoming a regular fixture on AEW programming.

Perry later transitioned into singles competition, where he continued to build his profile. Over the course of his AEW career, he has captured multiple championships, including the AEW World Tag Team titles, TNT Championship, and the National Championship, along with holding the FTW Championship during his time in the company.

His most recent in-ring appearance came on the June 24 episode of Dynamite, where he was defeated by Zack Sabre Jr. That match marked his last outing before the contract situation became a major talking point.

AEW President Tony Khan had previously addressed Perry’s status during the Forbidden Door media call, expressing hope that a new agreement would be reached to keep him with the company long-term. That expectation has now been realized with this latest development.

With his contract secured, Perry now turns his focus back to in-ring competition and his stated goal of reaching the top of the company. His intention to pursue the AEW World Championship signals a renewed direction as he continues his run in AEW.
