Xia Brookside has captured the TNA Knockouts World Championship for the first time in her career. She defeated Léi Yǐng Lee at Slammiversary on Saturday night at Agganis Arena in Boston.
The match ended after Lee was driven headfirst into an exposed turnbuckle, which shifted the momentum. Brookside capitalized moments later by delivering a DDT to secure the pinfall victory and the title.
Commentary highlighted that this marks Brookside’s first major championship win, making it a significant milestone in her career. The title change is also a historic one, as it marks the 72nd time the TNA Knockouts World Championship has changed hands since Gail Kim became the inaugural champion at Bound for Glory 2007.
With the win, Brookside becomes the 33rd wrestler to hold the championship, adding her name to the division’s lineage.
Lee’s second reign as champion comes to an end after 75 days. During that time, she recorded one successful title defense, defeating M by Elegance at an independent event in Kingston, Ontario, Canada.
She originally regained the title from Arianna Grace during the April 15, 2026 television tapings in Syracuse. That match later aired on the May 7, 2026 episode of Impact. Prior to that, Lee had also held the championship from November 18, 2025, until losing it to Grace at TNA No Surrender on February 13, 2026.
Brookside’s victory not only ends Lee’s latest run but also signals a new chapter in the Knockouts division, with a first-time champion now leading the roster.
