Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy have added another milestone to their careers, winning the TNA World Tag Team Championships at Slammiversary. The victory came in a four-way ladder match held at Agganis Arena in Boston.

The Hardys faced multiple teams in the high-risk contest, including The Great Hands, The Righteous, and the defending champions Bear Bronson and Brian Myers. The match featured several key moments, with all teams battling to climb the ladder and retrieve the titles.

The finish saw Jeff Hardy deliver a Swanton Bomb from the top of a ladder onto The Great Hands, creating an opening. Following the impact, both Hardys quickly climbed another ladder and pulled down the championship belts to secure the win.

This marks the 76th title change in the history of the TNA World Tag Team Championships. With this victory, The Hardys have now become five-time champions in TNA, further cementing their legacy as one of the most decorated teams in the promotion.

They now join two other notable teams in this category. Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards of The Wolves, along with Bobby Roode and James Storm of Beer Money, are the only other teams to reach five reigns with the titles.

The win also brings The Hardys closer to another record. They are approaching the mark for the most combined days as TNA World Tag Team Champions. That record is currently held by Ortiz and Santana of LAX, who accumulated 662 days across four title reigns. With this latest victory, The Hardys now stand at 653 combined days, just nine days short of the record.

The result not only adds another title reign to their resume but also places them in position to potentially set a new benchmark in TNA tag team history.
