The 2026 King and Queen of the Ring tournament has officially concluded at WWE Night of Champions, with IYO SKY defeating Liv Morgan to be crowned the new Queen of the Ring.
The match started with a fast pace as Morgan targeted SKY’s legs early, looking to ground her opponent. SKY countered with quick reversals and a shoulder tackle, but Morgan responded with a rana into the corner followed by a running hip attack and knee strike. Both competitors traded control in the early stages, with Morgan focusing on submissions and strikes while SKY used speed and aerial offense.
SKY gained momentum with a crossbody to the outside and later a missile dropkick inside the ring. Morgan answered with a Codebreaker and a Three Amigos suplex sequence, nearly securing the win. She continued targeting the leg, applying a Boston Crab and later transitioning into a single-leg Liontamer, keeping SKY under constant pressure.
Despite the damage, SKY fought back with a series of forearms and a double stomp to escape another submission attempt. The match intensified as both women exchanged near falls, including a springboard Codebreaker from Morgan and a butterfly backbreaker from SKY.
A key moment came when Morgan attempted obLIVion, but SKY avoided it, leading to a counter sequence. SKY connected with a Spanish Fly before heading to the top rope. She maintained her balance and delivered a decisive moonsault to secure the victory.
Following the match, Nick Aldis entered the ring to crown SKY as Queen of the Ring. She took a moment to absorb the reaction before being interviewed by Byron Saxton.
“I am the Queen now. Liv, I will see you at SummerSlam for your title.”
With the win, SKY earns a Women’s Championship opportunity at SummerSlam, setting up a high-stakes rematch with Morgan. The victory caps off a strong tournament run and positions SKY at the top of WWE’s women’s division heading into one of the biggest events of the year.
As noted earlier, Oba Femi defeated Jey Uso to win the 2026 King of The Ring Tournament.
