Oba Femi Addresses the Crowd
We get a look back at Night of Champions before the 2026 King of the Ring, Oba Femi, makes his way to the ring. Oba steps through the curtain with the crown in hand, soaking in the reaction as he heads down the ramp. The new King stands tall in the ring, ready to speak after the biggest win of his career.
Oba says that’s good — that’s fine. That reaction, that reception, is what a ruler deserves. But now he wants something more. He wants a reception befitting a King. Oba smiles, saying he likes the ovation. He reminds everyone he told Jey Uso that destiny was on his side. Jey didn’t believe him… not until he stepped into the ring. Now Jey is a believer. And destiny, Oba says, is still kind to him. But a choice has to be made.
Brock Lesnar’s music hits.
Lesnar walks out with Paul Heyman at his side, doing the Brock Bounce as the crowd erupts. Brock steps into the ring, staring down the King of the Ring… then applauds him, clearly acknowledging Oba’s tournament victory.
Brock takes the mic from Heyman and formally announces Oba Femi as the King of the Ring. He extends his hand, but Oba refuses. Brock smirks and says he hasn’t watched the show — everyone knows he doesn’t watch the show — but even he can admit Oba’s win is one hell of a feat. Brock reminds Oba he was King of the Ring once too. He says he relies on Paul for updates, and Paul told him Oba has a big decision to make… and that Oba’s been running his mouth. Calling Brock a coward. Calling Brock a bitch. Brock says Oba cut a great promo, but Brock has Paul to cut his promos for him.
Then Brock says it plain: talk s***, get hit.
Brock kicks Oba low and hoists him up for an F5.
Oba gets back to his feet, furious, saying this is what Brock always does — hit an F5 and walk away. He says Brock was told Oba talked behind his back, so he’ll say it to his face: Brock is a bitch. Oba says they can dance around this forever, or they can settle it at SummerSlam.
Brock takes the mic again and accepts. But he adds one condition. He wants it inside Hell in a Cell.
Backstage Fallout with Paul Heyman, Adam Pearce, Oba Femi, and Austin Theory
Paul Heyman is with Adam Pearce, who immediately demands to know what’s going on. Paul, grinning like he’s already cashing royalty checks, says the match of all time is now set for SummerSlam. Pearce looks like he aged five years hearing that.
Austin Theory barges in, shocked to see Paul. He asks Heyman to come out with him for his match. Paul tells Theory that now he knows Paul is here — and that’s all he’s getting.
Pearce then stops Oba Femi in the hallway, wanting to make sure he heard Oba correctly. Oba says the title will be there, and he’ll take it when he wants it. Pearce asks if Hell in a Cell is really what Oba wants. Oba says it needs to happen. He’s going to put an end to this — and it needs to end.

Joe Hendry makes his way to the ring, ready to perform for the Street Profits’ celebration. He says Joe Hendry has appeared, and asks who’s ready for a Joe Hendry concert. He tells the crowd they can’t get started until he introduces his special guests… and brings out The Street Profits.
Ford thanks everyone for the love over the last week. He says that’s why they’ve got a few people to thank. First, he thanks the WWE Universe for believing in them. Next, he thanks Seth Rollins. Angelo says all the karma finally caught up to The Vision. Ford then thanks Joe Hendry, saying last week’s song was beautiful.
Joe starts playing his song…
Austin Theory’s music hits and cuts him off.
Theory says the thieves who stole his tag titles last week are standing in the ring. He reminds Joe that Joe mentioned John Cena — the man Theory beat at WrestleMania. Theory says they’re all excited celebrating, but next week there will be a rematch for those titles.
Angelo says they can have that rematch… but asks if Bron will even be healthy by then.
Theory says Bron will be off the leash. He says he appreciates Joe’s last song being about him, but he’s going to destroy Joe in the ring.

Raquel agrees, and Pearce makes the match for tonight.

Cathy Kelley with Ethan Page
Cathy asks Ethan Page about losing to Rey Mysterio. Page says anyone else would tell her they’re upset, but for him it’s just a minor setback. He points out Rey is a Hall of Famer — sometimes you have to crack a few eggs to make an omelet, and sometimes you have to step on up‑and‑comers to keep your spot. Page reminds Cathy he beat Dragon Lee last week. Rey asked for a match tonight, and Ethan had no time to prepare or be at his best. Tonight wasn’t his best, but Page says he’s still keeping his promise. He says he will be draped in gold.

Liv Morgan’s music hits and she walks onto the stage.

She sacrificed her own success because she wanted Bayley with her. They know she can do it. They stand across from each other in the ring, neither moving, neither speaking — just staring. The tension builds as they keep their eyes locked.
Seth finally breaks the silence. He tells Roman, “Hello, my brother.” He says for fourteen years, they’ve been tied together — from this moment all the way back to the formation of The Shield. Call it fate, call it destiny, but Seth says it feels fitting they’re standing here in Atlantic City. Seth tells Roman he’s holding a title that belongs to him.
They stand across from each other in the ring, neither saying a word, just staring. The tension keeps building as neither man moves.
Seth finally speaks. He calls Roman “my brother.” He says for fourteen years they’ve been tied together — from this moment all the way back to the formation of The Shield. Call it fate, call it destiny, but Seth says it feels fitting they’re standing here in Atlantic City. Seth tells Roman he’s holding a title that belongs to him.
Roman asks what Seth means by “collect.” He says Seth must be confused. Seth is at the back of the line. He hasn’t done anything lately to earn a shot at him.
Seth tells Roman he can play that game with everyone else, but not with him. Seth says he is always at the front of the line. For everything Roman has done, Roman owes him. For everything Roman has become, Seth says he owns Roman. He owns him in the ring, in the head, and in the heart. Seth says if Roman wants proof, he pinned Roman at WrestleMania 41 and took his Wise Man. The year before, he sacrificed himself so Cody could end Roman’s reign of terror. For four years Roman was unstoppable and beat everyone — except one person. Seth brings up WrestleMania 31 and says there was nothing Roman could do about it. Seth says he has owned Roman since the day he put a chair in Roman’s back.
Seth says he isn’t here to ask Roman for anything. He’s here to give Roman something. Seth says everything Roman claims to be, everything the people believe he is — he is that great. He’s won every title, main‑evented every show, and his WrestleMania main‑event record will never be broken. But there is one thing Roman has never been able to do… beat Seth Rollins.
Seth says he’s here to give Roman that opportunity. This may be Roman’s last chance to close that loop. They came into the company together, through the crowd, kicked the old generation aside, and built the greatest generation in the history of the business. They’re much closer to the end than the beginning. And just like when they arrived, there’s a new generation ready to do the same thing to them. Seth says this might be their last chance to do this dance. What does Roman want his legacy to be? He’ll go down as one of the greatest ever, maybe number one. Seth says Roman should get his own induction show — and Seth might even induct him. But if Roman doesn’t accept this challenge, he will never escape the ghost of Seth Rollins.
Roman says it’s been a long time since he’s heard any truth come out of Seth’s mouth, little brother. Roman says Seth is right — he doesn’t want to beat Seth. He needs to beat Seth. He needs his entire family to witness him beating Seth Rollins. At SummerSlam, that’s exactly what he’s going to do. Roman accepts.
Roman holds up the title as we go to credits.

Femi has not yet revealed whether he plans to face Roman Reigns for the World Heavyweight Championship or Sami Zayn for the Undisputed WWE Championship at the same event.
