TNA Wrestling Not For Sale As Anthem Pushes Back On Rumors

TNA Wrestling is not currently on the market, according to new reports that directly address the recent speculation about the company’s status.

Information from PWInsider indicates that multiple sources within both TNA and its parent company, Anthem Sports & Entertainment, have denied that the promotion is up for sale. These statements contradict the rumors that circulated earlier this week suggesting that a sale could be imminent.

TNA Wrestling sale rumors denied

Sources from Anthem were clear in rejecting the reported valuation that had been widely discussed. Figures ranging from $30 million to $50 million had been mentioned in the speculation, but those close to the situation described that range as significantly undervaluing the company in its current form.

In addition to disputing the valuation, sources also pushed back on claims that WWE would have the right of first refusal if TNA were to be sold. According to those same sources, that idea is not accurate.

There was also frustration expressed regarding how the reports gained traction. One source suggested that the timing of the speculation appeared aimed at negatively impacting the company as it prepares for a major event. TNA is set to present its Slammiversary pay-per-view on June 28 in Boston, making it a key moment on the company’s calendar.

The same source criticized the origin of the rumors, pointing out that the claims came from a social media account without a proven track record. Despite that, the information spread quickly as others repeated it, contributing to the broader narrative.

At this stage, all indications from within TNA and Anthem are that no sale process is underway. The company continues its operations as planned, with focus remaining on upcoming events rather than any ownership changes.
