Braun Strowman Targets Summer 2026 Return to Wrestling

Braun Strowman has hinted at a possible return to in-ring competition in summer 2026, nearly a year after his WWE release.

Strowman, whose real name is Adam Scherr, recently posted a throwback image on X showing himself slamming Brock Lesnar. The post appeared to reference the recent viral moment involving Lesnar and Oba Femi on WWE RAW, drawing attention from fans.

When asked by podcaster Mike Gilbert about his return timeline, Strowman gave a cautious update.

“Maybe this summer,” Strowman replied. “I’m mid filming season two of Everything on the Menu now and have a few other projects. So will see.”

Strowman has not competed since his WWE release in May 2025. His last match took place on April 18, 2025, where he teamed with LA Knight against Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu.

Since stepping away from WWE, Strowman has focused on projects outside the ring. One of his main ventures is Everything on the Menu, a food-based reality series where he travels across the United States trying local cuisine. The show was officially renewed for a second season in January 2026 and is co-produced by WWE, allowing Strowman to continue using his in-ring name.

In addition to the show, Strowman recently launched his own production company, Meat Castle Media, expanding his presence in entertainment beyond wrestling.

His return plans have also been impacted by health issues. Earlier in 2026, Strowman revealed he underwent urgent surgery to drain fluid from his knee due to an infection. The situation raised concerns about his ability to return in the near future.

While Strowman has now suggested a summer timeline, his comments indicate that nothing is confirmed. His schedule with filming and other commitments, along with his recovery, will play a role in determining when he can step back into the ring.

For now, a return in summer 2026 remains a possibility rather than a guaranteed date.
