AEW Collision Results – February 28, 2026 – The show opened with Tony Schiavone introducing himself, Excalibur, and Nigel McGuinness before Maxwell Jacob Friedman stormed out to interrupt.
MJF marched to the ring in a fury, demanding that the Revolution match situation be fixed immediately. He insisted he was a real wrestler, not an “indy deathmatch” guy, and declared that Collision would not continue until Tony Khan changed the stipulation for his match with Hangman Page.
Kevin Knight’s music hit, and one‑third of the AEW Trios Champions confronted Friedman. Knight said he heard MJF wanted something done, and since he had been “getting the job done” lately, he was here to handle tonight’s problem: MJF himself. Knight called Friedman a “whiny crybaby ass bitch” and said the people were tired of hearing about MJF’s money and ego. Knight claimed he had more “swag,” was better looking, and maybe—just maybe—was a better World Champion than MJF because he represented the present.
MJF took offense at Knight trying to tell “Big Hebrew” how to do his job. He told Knight to hop on a jet to El Paso and face him for the World Title on Dynamite. Friedman promised that once he was finished with Knight, he would be nothing but history.
A strong opening segment that showcased Knight’s confidence and set up a compelling World Title match for Dynamite.
