The main event of Elimination Chamber 2026 in Chicago ended with Randy Orton standing tall. In his tenth appearance inside the Chamber, Orton secured his first victory in the structure. With the win, he earned the right to challenge Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Championship at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas.
The match began with Cody Rhodes and Je’Von Evans. The pace was fast from the start, with Cody using power and Evans relying on speed. Trick Williams entered next and changed the momentum with a double uranage on both opponents. Logan Paul joined the match fourth and was immediately attacked by the other competitors. LA Knight followed and brought heavy strikes and a BFT on top of a pod in one of the night’s biggest moments.
Orton entered last and quickly took control. He delivered multiple clotheslines and power slams. He followed with a double hanging DDT and looked ready to finish the match. The eliminations then came quickly. Logan Paul eliminated Je’Von Evans. Later, Logan pinned LA Knight after a low blow. Cody Rhodes eliminated Trick Williams, leaving Cody, Logan, and Orton as the final three.
As Logan Paul gets eliminated by the returning Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre entered the Chamber after chaos broke out and struck Cody with the championship belt. Orton answered with an RKO to McIntyre. Cody hit Cross Rhodes on McIntyre, but Orton struck Cody with a sudden RKO and scored the three-count.
The victory marks a major milestone for Orton. After nine previous attempts, he finally won inside the Chamber. He now moves on to WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas, where he will challenge Drew McIntyre for the World Heavyweight Championship.
