Chavo Guerrero Jr. Reportedly Back With WWE in Official Capacity – Chavo Guerrero Jr. may be back under the WWE umbrella. According to Fightful Select, Guerrero has told multiple people that he is officially working with the company again in some capacity.
Guerrero was recently spotted on camera during the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event, which has fueled speculation about his WWE status. Fightful reports, “Sources that Chavo spoke to ahead of and around the event, claim that he said that he is back with the company in the official capacity.” WWE has yet to issue any public statement or confirm his employment, and Fightful noted they had reached out to the company for comment but had not received a response as of press time.
A member of the legendary Guerrero family, Chavo was a mainstay in WWE for over a decade before departing in 2011. During that run, he held the WWE Cruiserweight Championship four times, and also captured the ECW Championship during the brand’s relaunch.
Following his WWE exit, Guerrero remained visible in the wrestling world with appearances in TNA, Lucha Libre AAA, and GCW. He also successfully transitioned into television production, serving as the wrestling coordinator and consultant for major network series like Netflix’s GLOW and NBC’s Young Rock — roles that required in-depth knowledge of in-ring psychology, stunt work, and television formatting.
Given his strong background in both wrestling and TV production, Guerrero could potentially take on a backstage producer role for RAW or SmackDown, or serve as a coach at the WWE Performance Center. His experience uniquely positions him to work across both creative and developmental departments.
As of now, neither Chavo Guerrero nor WWE have publicly confirmed his return, and it remains unclear whether he will be working full-time, part-time, or on a project basis.
