LA Knight Reportedly Pushed for RAW Move – LA Knight could be headed for a brand switch, as WWE officials are reportedly advocating for the popular SmackDown star to join the RAW roster full-time.
According to a new report from WrestleVotes, there is growing internal momentum behind the idea of Knight becoming a regular presence on WWE’s flagship show, which will be broadcast on Netflix starting in January 2025.
The report states that “more than a handful of people” within WWE are lobbying for Knight’s move to RAW, viewing his presence on the Netflix platform as a “refreshing change” for the red brand. With his popularity continuing to rise, many feel Knight could benefit from the increased exposure and prime positioning RAW will offer in its new era.
Knight has only appeared in two official RAW matches since signing with WWE in February 2021. His first was against Cody Rhodes in March 2023, followed by an Elimination Chamber qualifying match against Ivar in February 2024. Though he’s made brief appearances on RAW in recent weeks, his involvement has been minimal.
“According to those within the company, we are told more than a handful of people are advocating for LA Knight to be moved to the RAW brand in the near future, as his presence on Netflix could be viewed as something of a refreshing change,” the WrestleVotes report noted.
While nothing official has been confirmed, Knight’s sporadic recent appearances on RAW could be an early sign of the shift being tested or teased. With WWE’s programming evolving and RAW preparing for its major Netflix transition, Knight’s larger-than-life persona and crowd engagement could make him a strong fit for the brand’s future direction.
