NXT Viewership: Big Drop for April 1 Episode – The April 1 episode of WWE NXT saw a decline in viewership, drawing 650,000 viewers, according to Programming Insider. This marks a drop from the 741,000 viewers recorded on March 25 and represents NXT’s lowest viewership since December 31, 2024.
In the key 18-49 demographic, NXT maintained a 0.15 rating, the same as the previous week. Notably, the episode faced no major sports competition, making the drop in numbers more significant.
The show opened with an announcement from Ava and Stephanie Vaquer. Ava revealed that Vaquer would be vacating the NXT Women’s North American Championship. To determine the next champion, WWE set up a six-woman ladder match at Stand & Deliver, with Zaria and Kelani Jordan qualifying for the bout during the episode.
Additionally, Oba Femi was confirmed to defend his NXT Championship in a Triple Threat Match against Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans at Stand & Deliver.
In the main event, Ricky Saints captured the NXT North American Championship by defeating Shawn Spears. However, after the match, Ethan Page attacked Saints, standing tall to close the show.
While NXT retained its key demo rating, the drop in total viewership comes just days before Stand & Deliver, making next week’s numbers even more crucial.
