Ivar Set to Challenge Dragon Lee for WWE Speed Championship – After quickly dispatching Dominik Mysterio, Ivar has secured a shot at WWE Speed Champion Dragon Lee.
On the latest episode of WWE Speed, which aired Wednesday, Ivar defeated Dominik in the finals of a four-man tournament to determine the next challenger for the title. The match lasted less than two minutes, with Ivar hitting a Tiger Bomb and securing the win with 1:22 left on the three-minute clock.
Ivar’s path to the finals included a victory over Yoshiki Inamura, representing NXT and Pro Wrestling NOAH, while Dominik advanced after defeating Chris Sabin in the opening round.
The WWE Speed Championship match between Dragon Lee and Ivar is set to air next Wednesday, March 19, at noon Eastern on X/Twitter. Since capturing the title from Andrade in November, Lee has defended it only once, securing a victory over Chad Gable.
If Ivar wins, he will become a double champion, as he currently holds the WWE World Tag Team Championship alongside his War Raiders partner, Erik. The upcoming title bout will test Lee’s ability to overcome Ivar’s size and power within the fast-paced format of WWE Speed.
