Trish Stratus Plans Scrapped Due To Last Minute Creative Change – As noted earlier, Former Women’s Champion Trish Stratus was scheduled to return tonight on WWE RAW during the “Ding Dong Hello!” segment but plans changed, seemingly at the last minute.
Bayley welcomed Dakota Kai and IYO SKY as her guests this week to talk smack about Bayley and Lita for their incident from a couple of weeks ago. Becky Lynch interrupted as Dakota Kai was talking about their plan to continue dominating the Women’s Tag Tea Titles.
Lynch said that she wanted to take the titles and there was one person she was thinking of teaming with… Lita. The challenge was issued and Bayley reluctantly accepted. It was later confirmed that the match will happen next week.
Trish Stratus is backstage and for weeks, the plan has been for her to get involved in this storyline. Fightul Select reports that Stratus was the plan but she left before the segment happened and as for what happened, it was explained to Fightful as simply a “creative change.”
It’s possible that they decided to hold off on Trish showing up for next week’s show instead of this week. We should know more soon.
