Becky Lynch And Lita Challenge Damage CTRL – As seen on tonight’s WWE RAW, Bayley hosted a special edition of her “Ding Dong, Hello” talk show, with Damage CTRL (Dakota Kai & IYO SKY) as her guests. She briefly highlighted her frustration due to her lack of a spot in the Womeb’s Elimination Chamber. Bayley then highlighted the success of Kai and SKY. Becky Lynch interrupted and made it clear that she wants to challenge for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship, and Lita came out to back her up.
Lynch made it clear that she apologized to Lita following their previous feud. Lita noted that she liked the idea of joining forces with Lynch. She challenged Kai and SKY to a title match. Bayley shot her down, but Lynch pressed on and accused the champions of being scared. Bayley then accepted the challenge.
Lita previously returned to WWE on the February 6 episode of WWE RAW. There, the WWE Hall of Famer helped Lynch defeat Bayley in a Steel Cage Match.
It was later confirmed that the match will take place next week.
Plus, fans will learn whether Brock Lesnar will accept Omos’ challenge for a WrestleMania match. After Lesnar got himself disqualified against Bobby Lashley at WWE Elimination Chamber, MVP targeted Lesnar in a promo on the following episode of WWE RAW and challenged him to a WrestleMania match on Omos’ behalf. He told Lesnar to show up on the February 27 episode of WWE RAW and deliver his answer.
Elsewhere on the show, Asuka will look to gain more momentum when she faces Carnella. Asuka returned to WWE at the Royal Rumble premium live event, and Carmella made her own comeback shortly thereafter. The two women have been at odds ever since. Asuka won the Women’s Elimination Chamber by last eliminating Carmella, and the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion will aim to get revenge when they clash in a singles match.
Finally, Candice LeRae will take on Piper Niven in a singles match, and The Miz will host a special WrestleMania edition of Miz TV. On the February 20 episode of WWE RAW, Maryse handed The Miz an envelope, and he teased that he had a major announcement for MIz TV the following week.
