Keith Lee’s Big Push Seems to be Over – Keith Lee took on The Miz and John Morrison in a Handicap Match on tonight’s RAW episode.
Lee was in the news last week because of Vince McMahon’s edict that he and others like Omos and Otis need to improve on their in-ring work and so they are being sent back to the WWE PC.
Lee was in control for most of the match but he lost via pinfall after taking a pin from both Miz and Morrison at the same time. This will surely lead to speculation that Lee is being buried by McMahon until he gets his work up to par. At the very least, the loss to Miz and Morrison knocks him out of being one of the top babyfaces on the brand.
McMahon is one of the few people in WWE who feel this way about Lee because many in the company have privately praised his in-ring work.
