Jazmyn Nyx Comments on WWE Exit – Former NXT star Jazmyn Nyx has officially confirmed her departure from WWE, explaining that her decision not to sign a new deal was driven by financial considerations and a desire to pursue other opportunities. In a candid TikTok video, Nyx addressed the rumors that followed her dramatic on-screen exit from NXT this week.
“As you know, there have been things circulating and I want to just set the record straight. I’m not re-signing with WWE. This was a personal decision I had to make for myself and my future,” Nyx said. “Personally, the contract that they were offering me for the next three years wasn’t going to cut it for me financially, and that’s okay.”
PWInsider previously reported that Nyx’s contract was expiring, and her final appearance came on Tuesday’s NXT episode. In the storyline, Fatal Influence dissolved when Nyx was attacked backstage. NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne and Fallon Henley discovered her laid out but coldly declared it was “time we dropped her anyway,” walking away and officially ending her time with the faction.
In her video, Nyx reflected on her journey to WWE, which began after a professional soccer career in Iceland. She revealed that four knee surgeries slowed her early progress and also disclosed that she once suffered a concussion, though she did not specify when. Nyx shared that her WWE commitments forced her to turn down outside opportunities, but she is now free to explore those ventures.
Nyx, whose real name is Jade Arianna Gentile, signed with WWE in 2022. She debuted on NXT television in early 2024 with Chase University before betraying the group to form Fatal Influence alongside Jayne and Henley. At just 27 years old, she now enters the next chapter of her career outside WWE.
