The surprise return creates a new sanctuary for Harley Hudson, who found herself left without allies following a devastating betrayal earlier in the evening.
Betrayal Leads To Surprising New Alliance
Earlier on the broadcast, Hudson entered the ring expecting to finalize her initiation into The Righteous alongside Vincent and Dutch. However, the faction baited her into a trap as retribution for delaying her decision, allowing Xia Brookside to ambush Hudson and take her spot within the group.
Despondent after the attack, Hudson was shown backstage contemplating her future in the promotion:
- Contemplating Departure: On a phone call with her mother, Hudson admitted she was struggling to find her footing in North America and contemplated returning to the United Kingdom within a few weeks if things did not improve.
- The Mysterious Note: Hudson discovered a handwritten note beside her that read, “Come play with me.”
- The Reveal: Following the note’s trail, Hudson encountered former Knockouts World Champion Taryn Terrell standing beside a physical dollhouse. Terrell greeted the rising star and officially welcomed her to the revived group.
The Legacy Of The Iconic Knockouts Faction
Terrell originally formed the original incarnation of the faction back in 2015 alongside Mia Yim (currently competing as Michin in WWE) and Marti Belle, dominating the Knockouts division throughout that era.
Terrell made her return to the promotion earlier this year at Rebellion, teaming with Mickie James and ODB in a Hardcore Country trios match. By reviving her signature stable, the veteran competitor establishes a major new storyline dynamic within the women’s division heading into the final stretch of the year.
