The “WWE Title Acension Ceremony” with champion Drew McIntyre and AJ Styles was the final segment for tonight’s go-home edition of RAW. Earlier in the show, Styles pinned Sheamus and then attacked him with a chair after the match.
They both said some words to each other and then McIntyre put the belt on the hook so it could be raised to the ceiling. Then The Miz and John Morrison joined Styles and they all attacked McIntyre. McIntyre made a Superman comeback by taking out the heels but Omos caused a distraction and Styles took out McIntyre’s leg.
Styles also hit McIntyre with the Phenomenal Forearm. Styles then hit McIntyre in the head with a ladder and then he followed up with chair shots to the back. Styles finished him off by diving off a ladder onto McIntyre and through a table. The show ended with Styles climbing up and grabbing the WWE Championship. Fans are supposed to worry about McIntyre because he will be up against Styles and his friends this Sunday at WWE TLC pay-per-view.
