As noted, Mauro Ranallo was not on commentary for Saturday’s NXT TakeOver: XXX show and Corey Graves ended up filling in for him.
There was an update on Mauro Ranallo on this morning’s Wrestling Observer Radio, as Meltzer noted that Ranallo was not able to do commentary for the show because of a family situation.
“He had a family situation and he went back to British Columbia, where he’s originally from so that’s what that is,” Meltzer said. “It’s not anything else, that’s the deal. He’s in British Colombia now and pretty much for those reasons he had to miss Saturday’s show.”
Obviously, we wish Mauro the best on whatever is happening with his family.
