WWE has posted a video that was shot backstage after Sonya Deville lost the “No DQ, Loser Leaves WWE” match to Mandy Rose at SummerSlam.
Per the stipulation, Deville must leave WWE. However, the video below seems to hint at Deville coming back under a different name. She said the following after she was asked what is next for her: “Do not call me that ever again!”
As noted, there has been some speculation on Deville actually taking time away from WWE due to the attempted kidnapping in her home last weekend, but there’s also speculation on Deville returning for a spot on RAW in the upcoming WWE Draft.
According to a WWE source, the feud with Mandy Rose is definitely over, so it would make sense for Sonya Deville to return with a different name / gimmick on the Red Brand.
