Next WWE PPV is Now Extreme Rules: "The Horror Show"

WWE Now Billing Extreme Rules As "The Horror Show"
WWE has given a tagline to the upcoming Extreme Rules pay-per-view.

The WWE website is now referring to the event as "Extreme Rules: The Horror Show" but there's no word yet on what the extra line refers to yet.

Based on current storylines, it looks like Braun Strowman will defend his Universal Championship against Bray Wyatt once again. That match would be one of the likely candidates to have some sort of “Horror Show” stipulation in a cinematic setting.

The cinematic matches are being done during the pandemic to spice things at major events and give fans a hook that will make them want to tune in.

As of now, the only matches announced for the show are Asuka defending the Raw Women’s Championship against Sasha Banks and Drew McIntyre defending the WWE Championship against Dolph Ziggler. Other matches likely for the show are Randy Orton vs. The Big Show and Braun Strowman defending the Universal Championship against Bray Wyatt.

"Extreme Rules: The Horror Show" will air live on July 19 from the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, FL. Below is the confirmed card:

WWE Title Match
Dolph Ziggler vs. Drew McIntyre (c)

RAW Women's Title Match
WWE Women's Tag Team Champion Sasha Banks vs. Asuka (c)
