Andrade Makes Surprise Return on AEW Dynamite 6-Year AnniversaryAEW Dynamite celebrated its six-year anniversary on October 1 with a shocking return, as Andrade resurfaced to align himself with Don Callis.

The night began with Kenny Omega teaming with Brodido to defeat Josh Alexander and The Young Bucks. After the match, Omega and The Bucks were left in the ring together. Excalibur noted on commentary that they were three of the wrestlers who helped launch AEW and had been part of Dynamite since its inception.

What seemed like a moment of nostalgia quickly shifted when Alexander re-entered the ring and joined Nick and Matt Jackson in attacking Omega three-on-one. Their assault was interrupted by the familiar entrance music of “Tarzan Boy,” signaling the return of “Jungle Boy” Jack Perry and Luchasaurus.

The former Jurassic Express duo reunited on Dynamite for the first time since their brief reunion at AEW All Out: Toronto. The crowd erupted as Perry and Luchasaurus rushed the ring, making the save for Omega. Perry went after The Bucks, diving to the outside before brawling with them backstage, while Luchasaurus followed.

Left in the ring, Omega grabbed a microphone and delivered an emotional promo. He reflected on AEW’s six-year journey, telling the fans that the highs and lows were all part of the experience and thanking them for their unwavering support since day one.

As Omega wrapped up, the lights suddenly went out. When they came back on, a masked figure stood behind him. The mystery man revealed himself to be Andrade, who then launched a brutal assault on Omega before hitting The Message. To close the segment, Andrade shook hands with Don Callis, solidifying his return and his new alliance.

Andrade’s appearance marks a stunning twist, as he departed WWE this past September after returning to the company at the 2024 Royal Rumble. He previously signed with AEW in June 2021 following his initial WWE exit, and remained there until late 2023. His return to AEW instantly shifts the landscape and raises questions about what comes next for The Elite and Don Callis’ growing influence.
