Steven Borden is back in AEW, and he immediately has his sights set on Blood & Guts.
During the October 21 episode of AEW Dynamite, Adam Copeland and Will Ospreay teamed up to face Kevin Knight and Kyle Fletcher of the Don Callis Family. The match ended with Copeland taking a championship belt shot from Kazuchika Okada, followed by a brainbuster from Fletcher for the pinfall victory.
Following the bell, the Don Callis Family continued their physical assault on Copeland and Ospreay until Darby Allin’s music hit the arena sound system.
Return From Injury And Blood & Guts Challenge
- The Surprise Introduction: Rather than rushing the ring alone, Allin introduced a returning Steven Borden, who had been sidelined since suffering a legitimate injury at AEW All Out.
- Clearing The House: Armed with a baseball bat handed to him by Allin, Borden entered the fray alongside the Young Bucks, quickly sending the Don Callis Family scrambling to the outside.
- The Challenge Issued: Taking to the microphone, Borden made it clear his comeback wasn’t just a one-night cameo, officially challenging the Don Callis Family to a Blood & Guts match.
The appearance marks Borden’s first time back on television since being stretchered off at All Out, instantly heightening the stakes in the ongoing war against the Don Callis Family. AEW officials are expected to finalize the full match lineups in the coming days.
