A worrying health update has surfaced regarding one of TNA Wrestling’s top stars following a dangerous stunt. As the October 22nd episode of TNA iMPACT on AMC was airing, the official Injury Report segment confirmed that Ricky Sosa is sidelined with a severe back injury.
The injury occurred during the high-stakes main event Ladder match on the prior October 15 broadcast, where wrestlers fought for a future shot at the TNA World Championship. During a chaotic sequence in the bout, Moose delivered a devastating powerbomb to Sosa, launching him over the top rope toward the outside of the ring.
Moose originally attempted to drop his opponent onto a propped-up ladder at ringside. However, the spot took a dangerous turn as Sosa’s back merely grazed the edge of the steel ladder before he crashed directly onto the hard floor below. This unfortunate situation leaves fans eagerly waiting for medical clearance, as there is currently no official timetable for his return to the ring.
