Jonathan Coachman Doubles Down on Critical Assessment of Jade Cargill’s WWE Run

Former WWE broadcaster Jonathan Coachman has reiterated his harsh evaluation of Jade Cargill, claiming during a podcast appearance that the WWE star is “just not good enough” for the top level of the industry.

Cargill previously addressed in-ring criticism in March, dismissing internet discourse surrounding her wrestling ability by pointing to her championship success across multiple promotions and her mainstream presence outside the squared circle.

Speaking on The Coach and Bro Show on October 7, Coachman was asked whether shifting Cargill from SmackDown to RAW might revitalize her momentum. Coachman rejected the idea, claiming a brand swap would not resolve underlying issues with her workrate.

“No, because they listen to us! Remember when I caught all that heat for saying she’s just not good enough? She’s nowhere to be found,” Coachman said.

Coachman argued that the wrestling business often avoids delivering blunt assessments when evaluating female performers, asserting that not every talent is equipped to thrive at the absolute peak of the industry.

“Guys, I’m telling you right now — not everyone is meant for this level. They’re not. And I think sometimes we don’t say that because we don’t wanna insult a female, or we don’t wanna do this or that,” he added.

Continuing his critique, Coachman suggested that WWE signed Cargill primarily based on her physical stature and superhero-like presentation rather than her polished in-ring fundamentals.

“Bro, this is the top of the game, top of the business. Jade — she hasn’t been there since day one. They signed her more because of how she looks. She looks like a superhero.”

Cargill continues to feature prominently on WWE television, competing in high-profile rivalries and championship matches on the SmackDown roster despite ongoing online debates regarding her performance.
