An explosive battle is officially heading toward AEW Full Gear, as Jon Moxley has stepped forward to lay down a chaotic challenge for Anarchy in the Arena following a wild brawl on AEW Dynamite: Fright Night.
The confrontation erupted Wednesday night after The Cut (Jay White and David Finlay) picked up a hard-fought tag team victory over the Death Riders’ Jon Moxley and Daniel Garcia. Following outside interference and a massive post-match melee involving both factions, Moxley grabbed a microphone to issue the signature hardcore challenge for next month’s pay-per-view.
Chaos Erupts After High-Stakes Dynamite Opener
The 14-minute opening contest came to a dramatic close when Ace Austin jumped onto the apron to aid Jay White, prompting Wheeler Yuta to intercept him with a Busaiku Knee. With the referee’s vision obscured, Clark Connors hit the ring to spear Garcia, allowing White to capitalize with the Blade Runner to secure the pinfall victory for The Cut.
The action immediately spilled over after the bell as members of The Cut swarmed the ring for a post-match assault. The remaining Death Riders rushed out to even the odds, with Claudio Castagnoli clearing house and attempting to deliver a Giant Swing to Austin Gunn before being thwarted by a coordinated save. Standing tall amid the wreckage, Moxley laid down the high-stakes challenge to close out the segment.
