Following the international spectacle of Collision Grand Slam France, AEW is gearing up for a massive three-hour special combining Dynamite and Collision on Wednesday, October 14. The company has officially announced a blockbuster card featuring five high-stakes Clockwork Carnage qualifiers, championship defenses, and major multi-man warfare.
The highlight of the upcoming television block centers around qualifying matches for the groundbreaking Clockwork Carnage match scheduled for WrestleDream. The unique stipulation features eight competitors entering the ring in three-minute intervals, with eliminations taking place until all eight men have entered. Once the full field is present, a strict 15-minute time limit begins, and the competitor who secures the most falls within that window will walk away as the AEW World Champion.
Reigning champion Will Ospreay, “Speedball” Mike Bailey—who punched his ticket in Paris by defeating Lee Moriarty with the Ultima Weapon—and Samoa Joe are already locked into the eight-man field.
To determine the remaining participants, AEW has scheduled five major qualifying matches for Wednesday’s broadcast. Adding an extra layer of danger, two active championships will be on the line during the qualifying bouts. TNT Champion Darby Allin will put his title on the line against Hechicero, and International Champion Kazuchika Okada will defend his gold against Myron Reed.
The full card announced for Wednesday’s three-hour Dynamite and Collision block includes:
