Following their high-profile debut at AEW All In 2026, New Level (Kofi and Austin Creed) are actively embarking on their media tour for All Elite Wrestling. However, the duo is not ready to hand ultimate praise to AEW EVPs The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson).
In a preview clip from an upcoming interview with media personality Jon Alba, the new AEW signees were asked whether they consider The Young Bucks to be the greatest tag team of all time.
A One-Minute Laughing Reaction
Rather than offering a serious breakdown, Creed immediately erupted into laughter, continuing to laugh continuously for nearly a minute.
Kofi joined in by teasing Alba, jokingly questioning whether the interviewer was attempting a comedy routine:
“You a comedian, bro. We haven’t done interviews like this in a long time, but you meet so many different personalities and everybody conducts interviews in a different way. Some bring some comedy to these interviews and that’s your shtick. Is that an Emmy back there, you get it for your comedy? Oh man. I need these laughs, I love these laughs because they give you life, you know?”
Setting Up Future AEW Tag Division Conflicts
The dismissive reaction from the former multi-time World Tag Team Champions quickly fueled speculation regarding a potential mega-feud in AEW’s tag team division.
Having captured the AEW World Trios Championships alongside Swerve Strickland in their debut match at Wembley Stadium, New Level has quickly established themselves as a focal point of AEW television. A showdown between New Level and The Young Bucks—two of the most decorated tag teams of the modern era—would represent one of the biggest first-time matchups available on the AEW roster.
