AEW Dynamite opened with an In Memoriam graphic honoring “The Butcher” Andy Williams. Excalibur noted that it had been a difficult week following the passing of their friend, adding that they would address it further later in the show. He stated that tonight’s focus would also be on Rebel and her battle against ALS, promising a special and memorable night for All Elite Wrestling before running down the card.
The Waiting Room with Dr. Britt Baker DMD & Rebel with Special Guests Persephone & Hikaru Shida
Rebel was backstage and introduced Baker, who immediately referred to her as “Reba” and noted that they both missed everyone. Baker stated that Reba’s fight and spirit had inspired everyone, only for Rebel to remind her of her name. Baker called it “Rebel Heart” before telling “Reba” that it was time to get back to business, introducing Percy (Persephone) to the show. Rebel reminded Persephone that it is Doctor Baker, and Persephone thanked Baker for helping her save the division after Maya World held the TBS Title hostage. Baker referred to Percy as the “Queen of the Underworld,” stating that is where they would drag their opponents tonight.
Baker declared that they had gotten the band back together before introducing Hikaru Shida. Shida said that Baker should thank her for breaking her nose a while back, claiming it made it look better. Shida added that while she used to hate both of them, she hates Maya World and Thunder Rosa even more, calling for them to take their division back. Baker stated they would see them out there tonight, while Rebel reminded Baker not to forget her glove.
Swerve Strickland and New Level (c) vs. The Conglomeration – AEW World Trios Championship
The championship bout kicked off with an initial exchange between Kofi and Orange Cassidy. After trading momentum, the two shared a fist bump before handing off the action to Kyle O’Reilly and Austin Creed. Following an opening collar-and-elbow tie-up, Creed flattened O’Reilly with a forearm and brought Kofi back into the fold.
Creed launched his partner onto O’Reilly, but Roderick Strong intervened by taking out Creed. Strong then whipped Cassidy directly into Creed in the turnbuckle before dropping Cassidy onto Strickland with a Fallaway Slam.
Following the commercial break, Strong and Kofi tagged in simultaneously. Kofi mounted an offense with a springboard clothesline, a dropkick, and a crossbody off the ropes, securing a two-count on Strong. Strickland tagged in shortly after; Strong hoisted him up for a slam, but the champion slipped free. When Strong attempted a catapult toward the ring ropes, Strickland landed cleanly on the floor. Holding Strong in position on the apron, Strickland set up a joint assault: Kofi delivered a bottom-rope double stomp while Creed hit a top-rope backbreaker.
Creed dropped an elbow onto Strong before Cassidy and Kofi entered as the legal men. Kofi caught Cassidy with a running knee strike, leading to Creed tagging in for a double-team sequence on Cassidy. Strickland re-entered, only for Cassidy to plant him with a Stun Dog Millionaire. Strong executed an Angle Slam on Strickland before being leveled by Creed. O’Reilly tagged back in, but as New Level focused their attack on him, Cassidy wiped out Strickland with a shotgun dropkick.
When Kofi and Creed tried to corner Cassidy, he slipped his hands into his pockets, caught both opponents in a dual headlock, and unleashed his trademark light kicks on Strickland. Strong attempted a Tornado DDT on Kofi, but Strickland intercepted him with a House Call. With Kofi holding Cassidy in position, Creed leaped off the top turnbuckle with a double stomp to score the pinfall.
Winners (and still AEW World Trios Champions): Swerve Strickland and New Level
After the bell, with Roderick Strong absent from the ring, O’Reilly assisted Cassidy to his feet so both could offer a handshake to the champions. The moment was interrupted by the appearance of The Demand and The Lethal Twist. Taking the mic, Ricochet voiced his frustration over The Demand losing the AEW World Trios Title while New Level arrived in the promotion and immediately received title opportunities. Ricochet ordered Strickland and New Level to vacate the ring, calling on both factions to physically remove them. “Hangman” Adam Page, Brody King, and Bandido rushed to the ring to back up the champions, forcing the rival groups to retreat.
Brody King and Bandido retrieved two of the AEW World Trios Championship belts and handed them to New Level, while Page reluctantly presented the final belt to Strickland.
Backstage Segment: Steven Borden & Darby Allin
Steven Borden stood backstage alongside Darby Allin, reflecting on his journey and admitted to living in his father’s shadow for his entire life. He recalled the night in Phoenix when Allin and Sting captured the tag team titles and he was attacked, noting that the incident unlocked something inside him. Borden shared that sharing the ring with his father on the final night of Sting’s career made him realize he wanted to face his fears directly rather than live with regrets. He stated that he went straight to Allin, who replied that the training wheels are now off and that he recognizes what Borden can accomplish. Allin emphasized that Borden was never meant to be a replica of Sting, but rather the first Steven Borden.
Tribute to “The Butcher” Andy Williams
Excalibur addressed the passing of Andy Williams over the weekend, leading the commentary team in honoring his memory. Tony Schiavone remembered Williams as an outstanding musician and human being who will be deeply missed, while Taz added that he always made people feel great during conversations.
Excalibur noted that while Williams appeared to be a formidable presence on the surface, speaking with him revealed a completely different person. He described Williams as someone without an ego who recognized potential in those around him and encouraged them to grow. Excalibur concluded that while death causes heartbreak, it cannot break bonds, adding that the world is better for having had him in it. A tribute graphic was displayed on the screen, and it was announced that a dedicated tribute to Williams will take place on Collision.
Backstage Segment: The Don Callis Family
Renee Paquette interviewed the members of The Don Callis Family backstage ahead of their tag team action later in the evening. Josh Alexander took a shot at Steven Borden, noting that having been sidelined for five months himself, he also has something to prove. Don Callis interjected, stating that nothing compares to watching a well-oiled tag team execute in the ring.
Kyle Fletcher brought up their recent victory on Collision, promising another win tonight. Knight questioned what defeating The Young Bucks would mean for their standing, leading Callis to remark on how overwhelming the thought was. Kazuchika Okada then walked into the frame with a wide grin, expressing his delight that Fletcher was fully embracing the Family. Fletcher walked off visibly annoyed, while Callis embraced Okada with a hug.
Persephone, Dr. Britt Baker DMD & Hikaru Shida vs. Maya World, Hyan & Thunder Rosa
Footage was shown before the match of Tony Khan presenting a check to ALS research organizations prior to Dynamite going on the air.
Persephone and Thunder Rosa kicked off the action after Britt Baker teased starting the match but tagged out upon seeing Rosa. The two traded heavy strikes in the corner before Rosa gained control with a tilt-a-whirl legsweep and a sliding lariat. Hyan tagged in to execute a leaping leg-drop for an early near-fall. Persephone fought out of a fireman’s carry setup and dropped Hyan with a snap powerslam for a two-count. Hikaru Shida tagged in, but was driven back to the opposing corner, allowing Maya World to tag in and execute a head scissors using her partner into a corner cannonball on Shida. World added a moonsault for a two-count. Shida escaped a bridging fall-away slam attempt with an eye-poke, followed by a cheap shot from Baker on the apron, putting Shida in control as the show went to commercial.
During the break, Baker utilized a hit-and-run strategy to keep the pressure on. World eventually fought off the opposition to tag in Rosa, who took control with a Stunner on Persephone and a running stalling dropkick to both Persephone and Shida in the corner. Baker attempted a blindside attack, but Rosa absorbed the hit and cornered her. Persephone and Shida intervened, though a miscommunication allowed Hyan to land a double crossbody off the top rope. Baker broke up the resulting pinfall attempt, tagging in after Persephone delivered a backstabber and Shida connected with a top-rope Meteora. Baker hit a spinning neckbreaker to leave her team standing, but World and Rosa responded with simultaneous dropkicks to clear Persephone and Shida from the ring.
Rosa chased Baker around the outside, where Persephone cut Rosa down with a Spear. World launched a crossbody off the top rope to the floor onto Persephone, and Shida followed with a high knee off the steel steps. Rebel then arrived at ringside in a wheelchair to a massive crowd ovation, handing a visibly emotional Baker her glove. Hyan attempted a rollup on Baker for a close two-count, but Baker quickly popped up, landed a thrust kick, and applied the Lockjaw to force the submission.
Following the match, Baker sat on Rebel’s lap as Rebel drove her up the ramp while both were in tears and the crowd chanted for Rebel. Very emotional moment.

Rebel Heart Tribute Video
A video package aired covering Rebel’s career from the early days of AEW to the present. In the feature, Rebel stated that AEW changed her life and expressed her hope that Rebel Heart would help save lives for those battling ALS. Various AEW talent spoke about Rebel, who detailed her timeline with the illness, noting that her symptoms began in late 2024 prior to her diagnosis in early 2026. She emphasized the critical need for continued research to better understand the disease and shared her gratitude for the support of her AEW family in making a difference. Mick Foley made an appearance to highlight how Rebel is uniting people around the cause, followed by a montage of AEW talent participating in the Ice Bucket Challenge over recent months. Rebel concluded the package by stating that researchers are closing in on new treatments and a potential cure.
Andrade El Idolo vs. The Beast Mortos – AEW National Title
Prior to the bout, a video package aired before Renee Paquette reported from ringside, noting that Andrade had pledged to defend the championship weekly to set the standard, all while retaining his World Title contract.
Mortos attempted an immediate attack as the bell rang, but Andrade countered with a headscissors. The two traded shoulder tackles until Andrade sent Mortos to the floor with an arm-drag. Andrade quickly pursued, vaulting over the top rope with a slingshot hurricanrana before posing with two fans at ringside. The brief celebration allowed Mortos to turn the tide, dropping Andrade with a spinning torture rack backbreaker on the floor before following up with a Tornillo through the ropes to take control leading into the commercial break.
On commentary during the break, Taz jokingly read Schiavone his rights after Schiavone asked if wearing a mask restricted Mortos’ breathing—prompting laughter across the broadcast team given Excalibur’s presence at the table.
Back from the commercial break, Andrade removed his tear-away pants, though the pause allowed Mortos to cut off an incoming charge and land a pop-up Samoan Drop for a two-count. Andrade attempted a headstand headscissors out of the corner, but Mortos blocked the move and executed a Lungblower for a near-fall. Mortos then set up another pop-up maneuver, with Andrade attempting to counter mid-air before Mortos brought him down with an Electric Chair drop. Andrade quickly regained his footing, hitting Dia De Los Muertos followed by The DM to secure the pinfall victory.
Winner (and still AEW National Champion): Andrade El Idolo
Following the match, Andrade took the microphone to reiterate his commitment to defending the title every week, stating that while Mortos was a good wrestler, he was not good enough to beat him. Andrade was then blindsided by Gabe Kidd, Clark Connors, and David Finlay, with the group declaring that they are always one step ahead of him. Kidd struck Andrade with a right hand before AEW World Champion Will Ospreay ran down to make the save.
Ospreay took out Finlay on the entry ramp, backdropped Connors to the arena floor, and sent Kidd over the top rope with a clothesline. As the War Dogs regrouped on the outside, Ospreay helped Andrade to his feet. The arena then echoed with the entrance music of the Death Riders, as Jon Moxley and Marina Shafir made their way out for Moxley to join the commentary team for the next match. Andrade and Connors brawled toward the backstage area, while Kidd exited through the crowd over the guardrail.
Will Ospreay vs. David Finlay – AEW World Title Eliminator
The action broke out immediately, with Finlay planting Ospreay early with a spinning back suplex followed by a vertical suplex throw. On commentary, Jon Moxley remarked that professional wrestling is a never-ending story that constantly adapts through every bump and turn. Ospreay began fighting back with ten punches in the corner, but Finlay cut off the momentum with a shot to the midsection and an eye rake. Taz brought up Moxley’s past training sessions with Ospreay, though Moxley declined to take credit while noting that Ospreay’s strike technique appeared to benefit from that time. Ospreay then connected with a slingshot crossbody to the arena floor, landing directly in front of Moxley before the show went to commercial.
During the break, Moxley praised the War Dogs’ work ethic and their background originating from the New Japan Dojo. Finlay controlled the pace throughout the commercial interval.
Upon returning to the broadcast, Ospreay attempted a comeback, only to absorb a cross-chop to the throat. Ospreay quickly kicked free from the corner and landed Pip, Pip, Cheerio to reset the match. Kipping up, Ospreay executed a handspring corkscrew kick for a two-count. Finlay evaded a Storm Breaker attempt, but took a series of Kawada Kicks. The two exchanged heavy strikes until Ospreay landed his wall-walk enzuigiri. As Ospreay attempted his next maneuver, Finlay caught him mid-air and drove him into the mat with a back suplex. Moxley highlighted Finlay’s precision, stating that every move he executes is detailed and leaves no room for error, regardless of how dirty the tactic is.
Ospreay slipped out of Oblivion, delivering a Hook Kick followed by a pop-up powerbomb for a two-count. As Ospreay signaled for the Hidden Blade, Finlay rolled to the outside, hung Ospreay over the top rope, and turned him inside out with a lariat back inside the ring for a near-fall. Finlay set up a powerbomb, but Ospreay reversed it into a snap hurricanrana pinfall attempt for two. Ospreay popped up immediately and executed an OsCutter for another two-count. Finlay countered a second Hidden Blade attempt into a backslide pin, but Ospreay rolled through, hit a StunDog, and executed a Styles Clash to secure the pinfall victory.
Winner: Will Ospreay
Following the match, Ospreay engaged in an intense stare-down with Moxley. Moxley slowly rose from the commentary desk and exited through the crowd while Marina Shafir held up the Continental Championship.
Backstage Segment: Hangman Adam Page, Brody King & Bandido
Renee Paquette interviewed Hangman Adam Page, Brody King, and Bandido backstage, inquiring if they were entering the chase for the AEW World Trios Championship. King confirmed their interest, but pointed out that Page seems to float around the division, questioning whether the Trios Titles were truly what Page was seeking when he returned to AEW. Page admitted that while it was not his initial goal, he genuinely wants and needs this championship, asking if they were still good to stay together as a trio. Bandido reassured him that they were still a team. The trio then lightheartedly debated who held the title of El Guapo in their group, with King ruling himself out while Page and Bandido agreed to settle the debate over cervezas.
Darby Allin & Steven Borden vs. The Don Callis Family (Mark Davis & Josh Alexander w/ Don Callis & Lance Archer)
Darby Allin prepared to start the match, but Mark Davis demanded Steven Borden instead, prompting Borden to step up. Davis utilized his size advantage early, but Borden countered with a high leapfrog into a snap arm-drag on the big man. Borden applied a headlock and drove Davis to his corner to tag in Allin, with both men hitting a series of alternating punches. Allin teased a dive toward Josh Alexander before landing a Coffin Splash on Davis in the corner. Alexander made a blind tag, immediately taking Allin down with a chop block before Davis delivered a standing senton onto Allin’s legs as the broadcast headed to commercial.
The Don Callis Family maintained control throughout the break. Davis locked in a Cloverleaf, adding a knee walk as an homage to “The Butcher” Andy Williams. On commentary, Taz compared Davis to John Kronus, a sentiment Don Callis agreed with. Davis and Alexander systematically cut off the ring to prevent Allin from tagging out, with Davis pulling Borden off the apron and driving him into the steel barricade.
Back from the break, Allin countered multiple German suplex attempts to reach Borden for the hot tag. Borden entered the ring and bodyslammed Davis onto Alexander before leveling Davis on the floor with a leaping clothesline off the steel steps. Returning to the ring, Borden hit a fireman’s carry slam on Alexander followed by a Stinger splash for a two-count. Davis saved his partner by delivering heavy chops to Borden in the corner and climbing to the second rope, but Borden caught him with a standing dropkick. Alexander cut off a superplex attempt, planting Borden with a Rack Bomb before Allin broke up the pinfall count.
Allin and Alexander traded heavy strikes in the center of the ring until Alexander hit a release German suplex and a running boot in the corner. Borden escaped a Snake Eyes attempt, executing a Scorpion Death Drop on Alexander at the exact same time Allin delivered a Coffin Drop. Allin then launched himself through the ropes with a low tope suicida onto Davis at ringside, allowing Borden to cover Alexander for the pinfall victory.

All Out Ladder Match Video Package
A video package aired previewing the upcoming 3-Way Ladder Match for the AEW World Tag Team Championship at All Out featuring Adam Copeland & Christian Cage, The Young Bucks, and FTR.
In-Ring & Crowd Promo: Thekla, Mercedes Moné & Willow Nightingale
Thekla made her entrance to the stage, addressing the crowd in Atlanta and stating that she does not need a championship to party because the party follows her everywhere. She brought up Mercedes Moné talking about dreams and creating moments, claiming that Moné is just like every other girl in the locker room, which is why there is everyone else and then there is Thekla. She explained that she did not grow up as a fan, but played in a punk rock band in Vienna until witnessing someone get beaten up with a chicken carcass, realizing she could excel in professional wrestling.
Mercedes Moné, standing in the crowd, interrupted and stated that a blonde who did not grow up loving wrestling does not intimidate her. Moné referred to herself as “Big D Moné” and mocked Willow Nightingale. Thekla agreed that Nightingale was the worst Women’s Champion in AEW history, claiming Nightingale got lucky taking the title from her before fumbling at Wembley.
Willow Nightingale’s music hit, prompting her to charge toward the ring. Thekla retreated to the ramp alongside the Sisters of Sin, while Moné raised the AEW Women’s World Championship high in the crowd as all three competitors engaged in a three-way stare-down.
Backstage Segment: Death Riders & Will Ospreay
The Death Riders were gathered backstage when PAC walked in furious, addressing Jon Moxley and emphasizing that he had warned them all along that Will Ospreay could not be trusted. PAC called Ospreay cocky, arrogant, and insisted he was never one of them. Daniel Garcia interjected, stating that he always liked Ospreay and had always been cool with him. PAC cut him off, asking if Garcia had forgotten what occurred at Redemption, while Gabe Kidd joined PAC in berating Ospreay, calling him a snake and a rat.
Ospreay walked into the room, remarking that they sure loved talking about him, and told Moxley to muzzle his group as Garcia and Marina Shafir restrained Kidd. Ospreay turned his attention to Moxley, reminding him that Moxley requested this match because he owes him, pointing out that Ospreay is the only man to pin him in 2026. Ospreay stated that this encounter would not resemble Dynasty—Moxley would not have the Death Riders at ringside or a 20-minute time limit, as they will have 60 minutes. He declared that he is coming in with a calculated strategy, knowing what it takes to defeat a Death Rider, and noted it would be a nice way to kick off his reign by caving in the skull of “The Ace.”
Moxley responded by stating it seemed like Ospreay had everything figured out, to which Ospreay replied that he would see him in Chicago. After Ospreay departed, Moxley looked back at PAC, who simply shook his head in disappointment, prompting a frustrated Moxley to throw his chair.
The Young Bucks vs. Kevin Knight & Kyle Fletcher (Tables Match)
The action commenced with The Young Bucks launching a joint assault on Fletcher before knocking Knight off the apron. The Bucks executed a Sunset Flip-German suplex combination on Fletcher. Nick Jackson positioned Knight across a table set up on the floor and climbed the ropes alongside Matt Jackson in the adjacent corner. Fletcher pulled Knight off the table, prompting Matt to dive to the outside to take down both opponents. The Bucks then slid a table into the ring and propped it up in the corner, with Matt delivering consecutive Northern Lights suplexes to Knight. Knight responded by diving off the top turnbuckle to wipe out both Bucks near the entrance ramp before the show went to commercial.
Back from the break, Knight attempted a high-flying move off the top rope, but Matt and Nick utilized the table in the corner as a weapon to cut him down. Fletcher knocked Nick out of the ring, but Matt held Knight in position for Nick to execute a top-rope Swanton Bomb. Fletcher intervened, though Matt planted him face-first into the mat and draped him over the top rope, setting up Nick for a double stomp to Fletcher’s spine.
The Bucks prepared to execute a Meltzer Driver on Fletcher on the ring apron, but Knight broke up the attempt. When Knight and Fletcher attempted a Meltzer Driver of their own, Nick countered with a hurricanrana to Knight off the ropes while Matt hit a DDT on Fletcher on the apron before rolling him back inside.
All four competitors engaged in a strike exchange, ending with Knight clotheslining Nick onto the apron. The Bucks hit the Meltzer Driver on Knight, followed by Nick driving Fletcher face-first into the canvas. Matt landed a superkick on Fletcher, allowing The Bucks to connect with the BTE Trigger. Matt then powerbombed Knight off the apron through a table on the floor. Simultaneously, Fletcher back-body-dropped Matt over the top rope, sending him crashing through a table on the opposite side of the ring.
With only Fletcher and Nick remaining uneliminated, Nick positioned Fletcher onto a table inside the ring and scaled the turnbuckle. Cash Wheeler pulled Nick off the ropes, but Nick fought back against Wheeler and Dax Harwood, laying both members of FTR out with superkicks on the apron. Stokely grabbed Nick’s ankle from the outside, creating an opening for Fletcher to execute a superplex on Nick off the turnbuckle through the table for the victory.
Winners: Kevin Knight & Kyle Fletcher
Following the match, FTR joined Knight in attacking Nick. Matt rushed in to assist his partner, but FTR caught him with a Shatter Machine. FTR then set up to execute a Meltzer Driver on Matt off the apron through a table on the outside. Darby Allin and Steven Borden ran out armed with a lead pipe and a chair, forcing FTR and The Don Callis Family to retreat. Knight raised Fletcher’s hand atop the commentary desk as they traded looks with The Bucks. Allin and Borden then stood in the ring facing The Young Bucks, who extended their hands. Allin and Borden accepted the handshake as the broadcast came to a close.
