WWE RAW Results – August 31, 2026 – Welcome to WrestlingAttitude’s coverage of WWE RAW on August 31, from the Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.

The Bloodline pulled up to the arena, but OTM and Royce Keys ambushed them before they could even step out. Keys smashed the windshield of The Usos’ car with a carjack, and OTM chokeslammed Jimmy onto the trunk. Jacob Fatu stormed in with a pipe in hand, and “the scene got so violent” Netflix pixelated the “live” footage to hide the gore.

Ringside – Jacob Fatu Meltdown

Wade Barrett and Joe Tessitore welcomed viewers as Sol Ruca headed to the ring. Raquel Rodriguez followed, but Jacob Fatu jumped onto the announce desk and demanded Royce Keys come fight him. Officials tried to get him down, and production cut his mic as he kept shouting.

Raquel Rodriguez (c) vs. Sol Ruca – Women’s Intercontinental Championship

Raquel Rodriguez charged at Sol Ruca at the bell, smashing her into the corner with back elbows. Ruca fired back, sending Raquel into the top rope and clotheslining her out of the ring. Ruca launched over the top rope to wipe her out, rolled her back inside, and climbed for a top‑rope attack.

Raquel moved and leveled her. Ruca tried a crossbody, Raquel caught her, but Ruca hit a springboard crossbody for a cover. Raquel kicked out. Ruca climbed for a moonsault, Raquel cut her off with a crossbody on the outside.

After the break, Raquel had Ruca on her shoulders on the apron. Ruca countered with a powerbomb off the apron. Roxanne Perez and Liv Morgan ran down, but Ruca wiped them both out with a springboard Tornillo before throwing Raquel back inside.

Morgan hopped on the apron to distract the ref. Lyra Valkyria appeared out of nowhere and helped Raquel get Ruca up on her shoulders as Ruca tried to set up the Sol Snatcher. With Morgan distracting the official, Raquel planted Ruca with a Texana Bomb and covered her.

Winner (and still Women’s Intercontinental Champion): Raquel Rodriguez

We Hear From Chad Gable

Chad Gable stepped into the spotlight and soaked in the crowd’s energy, thanking them before getting serious. He said winning the Intercontinental Championship didn’t give him the “I made it” feeling he expected — instead, it made him realize the real work starts now. This is where he defines his legacy and how he’ll be remembered as a champion.

Gable said he wouldn’t be Intercontinental Champion if it wasn’t for the Mexican people, and announced he’ll defend the title on September 14. He called Dragon Lee to the ring. Lee arrived, and the two exchanged mutual respect. Lee revealed Adam Pearce let him choose his opponent for that date… but Ethan Page cut him off.

Page insulted Lee, calling him a “talentless Luchador,” and demanded Gable face him instead. Gable said Page is on his list — right at the bottom, under The Honky Tonk Man. Page kept running his mouth until Lee shut him down, saying no one believes Page is better than him. Lee challenged Page, and Gable raised the stakes: the match would be a Number One Contenders bout.

Dragon Lee vs. Ethan Page – Number One Contenders Match (Intercontinental Championship)

They locked up at the bell. Lee hit a single‑leg dropkick, Page answered with a powerslam and a kick. Page hammered Lee with right hands, but Lee fired chops back. Page drove shoulders into Lee’s ribs, whipped him spine‑first into the corner, and kicked him again.

Lee tripped Page and hit a single‑leg kick from the apron, then a corner dropkick for a cover. Page kicked out. Lee sent him outside and hit a tope con hilo.

After the break, Lee climbed, Page moved, tripped him with the ring skirt, and hit a double‑underhook twisting neckbreaker into his knee for a near fall. Lee rolled him up, Page kicked out, and Lee threw right hands. Lee rocked Page with a knee on the apron.

Gable chased Page back inside, the ref stopped him, and Page used the distraction to expose the top turnbuckle. He sent Lee chest‑first into it — but the ref saw the exposed buckle and refused to count.

Lee capitalized immediately and hit Operation Dragon for the win.

Winner (and new Number One Contender): Dragon Lee

– Backstage, Roman Reigns told Jacob Fatu that Royce Keys is his problem — then headed toward the ring.

We Hear From Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns stepped into Cleveland and demanded the crowd acknowledge him. He called being the champion a burden — everyone wants what he has. He singled out Penta and Rey Fenix as the rare ones actually earning their shot, unlike most of the locker room. Then he turned to Solo Sikoa. Reigns said Solo blew his chance with The Bloodline for LA Knight, and Knight might remind Solo of The Rock, but he’s not family.

LA Knight’s music hit. Knight told the fans he had plenty to talk about after last week. He said he should be talking about Royce Keys and OTM, but Reigns was recycling material and Knight expected better. He joked that “OTC” must stand for one tremendous coward and told Reigns to just admit he’s scared if he is. Knight said Reigns was probably at home nursing injuries and rethinking his life choices, and once you whip the horse, you take the ride.

Backstage, Solo Sikoa was found down with officials checking on him. Knight sprinted to the back — and Reigns blindsided him from behind.

– A video then hyped Lola Vice’s upcoming RAW debut.

Je’Von Evans vs. Dominik Mysterio (w/ JD McDonagh)

Evans blasted Dominik with a dropkick right at the bell. JD McDonagh jumped onto the apron to distract him, giving Dominik room to stomp away — but Evans launched over the top rope and wiped Dominik out on the floor.

After the break, Dominik snapped Evans’ jaw on the top rope and covered him, but Evans kicked out. Dominik cracked him with a right hand and tried another pin, Evans kicked out again and fired back with a string of right hands.

Evans stomped Dominik in the corner, sent him face‑first into the middle buckle, and hit a clothesline off the top rope. McDonagh dragged Dominik out of the ring, but Evans punched JD and clotheslined Dominik into the timekeeper’s area. JD recovered and blindsided Evans on the outside, causing the disqualification.

Winner: Je’Von Evans (via disqualification)

Dominik and McDonagh kept the beating going until Joe Hendry’s music hit. Hendry stormed down and tossed both Judgment Day members out of the ring. Adam Pearce appeared and made a tag match official.

Joe Hendry & Je’Von Evans vs. Judgment Day

Evans and Hendry didn’t wait for introductions — they jumped Dominik Mysterio and JD McDonagh at the bottom of the ramp. Evans launched himself over the barricade near the timekeeper’s area, wiping out both Judgment Day members before the match even settled.

After the break, Hendry hit a neckbreaker on McDonagh for a cover, JD kicked out, and Hendry followed with a delayed vertical suplex before tagging Evans. McDonagh bailed, Evans chased him back inside, and Dominik blindsided Evans from behind. Dominik stomped him down and knocked Hendry off the apron. Hendry tried to intervene, the ref stopped him, and Dominik suplexed Evans.

McDonagh tagged in, hit a suplex of his own, and bounced Evans off the top buckle. He perched Evans on the ropes and hit a right hand, but Evans fired back and flew off the top to take JD down.

Hendry tagged in and hit a double fallaway slam on both Judgment Day members. Outside, McDonagh sent Evans into the ringpost. Inside, Dominik climbed and hit a Frog Splash on Hendry, holding him down for the three.

Winners: Judgment Day

Backstage – Stephanie Vaquer, Becky Lynch & Jackie Redmond

Stephanie Vaquer interrupted Becky Lynch mid‑interview. Vaquer demanded to know why Lynch helped her earlier. Lynch said she did it to take out Judgment Day — and if she were going to help someone, she’d rather chase the Women’s World Championship against Vaquer than Liv Morgan.

Vaquer thanked her, but made it clear she doesn’t need help from anyone. She told Lynch to stay away from her.

Penta vs. Rey Fenix – World Heavyweight Championship Number One Contenders Tournament Finals

Penta and Rey Fenix opened with blistering overhand chops, trading and blocking each other’s offense until Fenix snapped off a hurricanrana. He hit another from the top rope, but when he tried to use the ropes again, Penta cut him off with a dropkick to the midsection and then launched over the top rope to wipe him out on the floor.

After the break, Penta tripped Fenix with a kick and covered him. Fenix kicked out and answered with a Tornillo to the outside. He rolled Penta back in, but when he tried to fly through the middle rope, Penta intercepted him with a thrust kick.

Fenix cracked Penta with a chest kick, Penta answered with a jawbreaker on the ropes, and both traded kicks until Penta blasted Fenix in the head and sent him crashing to the floor. Penta threw him back inside.

Another break passed, and Penta hammered Fenix with back elbows. He hit a backstabber out of the corner for two and tried a Mexican Destroyer on the apron. Fenix blocked it, hit a moonsault off the ropes, and covered — Penta kicked out.

Penta hit a sit‑out powerbomb and climbed. Fenix joined him, Penta tried a super Mexican Destroyer, but Fenix landed on his feet and set up a Mexican Muscle Buster. Penta escaped and drilled him with the Penta Driver — Fenix kicked out.

They spilled outside. Penta cleared the announce desk. Fenix met him up top and Penta hit a second Penta Driver through the table. The ref counted, both barely beat ten. Fenix hit a hurricanrana, Penta caught him instantly with a Mexican Destroyer, and held him down for three.

Winner: Penta

After the bell, Penta helped Fenix up and raised his arm. Roman Reigns’ music hit. Reigns walked to the ring, stared Penta down, and raised the World Heavyweight Championship. Penta threw up Zero Miedo as the show ended.
