WrestleMania 42 Attendance Figures Revealed by Las Vegas Stadium Authority

The official attendance numbers for WrestleMania 42 have finally been released, giving a clear picture of how many fans packed Allegiant Stadium for WWE’s biggest weekend of 2026. The Las Vegas Stadium Authority has confirmed a combined total of 97,126 attendees across both nights of the event, which took place on April 18 and 19.

Night one drew 47,093 fans, while night two brought in 50,033. The combined figure lands below WWE’s announced number of 106,072, but still marks a massive turnout for the second straight year in Las Vegas. WWE promoted the event as “one of the highest-grossing in company history,” though it did not surpass the all‑time gate record set by WrestleMania 41 in 2025.

Why WrestleMania 42 Saw a Year-to-Year Attendance Drop

WWE openly acknowledged the attendance dip during the build to WrestleMania 42, with Pat McAfee joking on television that he and Randy Orton would “save pro wrestling” by dethroning Cody Rhodes. Behind the scenes, WWE leadership pointed to a more practical reason: running WrestleMania in the same city two years in a row.

Company president Nick Khan has already suggested that WWE may avoid hosting WrestleMania in the same market in consecutive years moving forward. The numbers from 2025 and 2026 show a clear contrast. WrestleMania 41 brought in 118,641 fans across both nights, with 58,538 attending night one and 60,103 attending night two.

Even with the drop, WrestleMania 42 still delivered a strong turnout and continued WWE’s trend of massive two‑night stadium shows.

WWE’s next major shift comes in 2027, when WrestleMania heads to Saudi Arabia for the first time. WrestleMania 43 will take place in Riyadh in April 2027, marking the first time the event has ever been held outside the United States or Canada. WWE has partnered with the Saudi government since 2018, but this will be the biggest milestone yet in that relationship.

Roman Reigns may have a much bigger Fatu problem than he realizes.
