Blake Monroe Says She’d Swap a Main Roster Title for the WWE Divas Championship

Blake Monroe hasn’t even debuted on the WWE main roster yet, but she already knows exactly what kind of champion she wants to be — and what title she’d proudly carry.

In a new interview with The Sportster’s Adam Barnard, Monroe revealed that if she wins a championship on SmackDown, she’d consider swapping it out for the retired WWE Divas Championship.

Monroe is currently part of the SmackDown roster, still awaiting her first televised match. But her ambitions — and her aesthetic — are already shaping the kind of identity she wants to bring to the division.

Monroe Praises Trish Stratus, Nikki Bella, and the Divas Era

Asked which champion from WWE history she’d want to face, Monroe named Trish Stratus first, calling her “the ultimate diva” and noting that the term shouldn’t be treated as an insult. Monroe said “diva” simply meant the female version of a superstar, and Stratus embodied that energy through charisma, promos, and presentation.

She also mentioned Nikki Bella, specifically because of the Divas Championship.

Monroe admitted she “lowkey” loved the butterfly belt, saying it was cute and would match her gear. She pointed out that, just like TNA’s X Division helped define an era, the Divas Championship represented a generation of women who built their own identity in WWE.

Monroe Says She’d Swap Out a Title If She Wins One

When the idea of bringing back the Divas Championship was floated, Monroe didn’t hesitate. She joked — but not really — that if she wins a main roster title, she’d replace it with the butterfly belt.

“Don’t let me get my hands on a title because I’ll swap them out.”

It’s a bold statement from a superstar who hasn’t stepped into a SmackDown ring yet, but it fits the persona Monroe has been building since her call‑up: confident, unapologetic, and ready to stand out the moment she arrives.
