Triple H Says Only Brock Lesnar Will Decide When His WWE Run Ends

Paul “Triple H” Levesque says nobody in WWE is going to decide when Brock Lesnar stops wrestling. Speaking on ESPN’s First Take ahead of SummerSlam, Levesque made it clear that Lesnar’s future is entirely in his own hands. The question came up as Lesnar prepares for another major showdown, and Levesque didn’t hesitate to put the responsibility on Lesnar alone.

“It’s really in his court as to what he wants to do. For Brock, there’s always gas left in the tank. I believe he is one of those generational athletes. It’s just a matter of, is this the right time for him?”

Levesque said Lesnar will make the call when he feels it’s right, and he will do it publicly, without mystery or delay.

“It all comes down to what does he see next for Brock? The great ones know when to call it a day. Brock will know, but he’ll tell us in real-time, live in Minnesota at SummerSlam.”

He also emphasized that WWE is willing to do more with Lesnar if the demand is there.

“If there’s a desire to see it, if the fans want to see it, if there’s a way to get it done, WWE will get it done. That’s what we do.”

Triple H Lesnar Oba Femi weigh-in connection

Lesnar meets Oba Femi inside Hell in a Cell at SummerSlam this weekend at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis. The two have split their previous meetings at WrestleMania 42 and Clash in Italy, creating a rare 1–1 rivalry heading into the final chapter. Femi earned a world title shot by winning the King of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions, but he turned it down to pursue Lesnar instead, choosing the fight over the championship.

Their weigh-in took place on Monday’s RAW, with Femi coming in at 302 pounds and Lesnar at 303. The segment escalated quickly, adding more intensity to a feud that already feels personal. With Lesnar’s future being openly discussed and Femi chasing the biggest win of his career, the match now carries weight beyond the stipulation.

SummerSlam streams on ESPN Unlimited in the United States and on Netflix internationally, and Lesnar’s next move may be revealed live in front of his home-state crowd.
