TNA Wrestling has extended a public invitation to LeBron James ahead of its live July 30 episode of Impact at the Liacouras Center in Philadelphia. James recently signed with the NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers, and TNA is hoping to bring the city’s newest superstar into the wrestling spotlight.
On Wednesday, the promotion announced that it is “officially inviting” James to serve as the Official Title Holder for the TNA World Championship match between Nic Nemeth and Jeff Hardy on Thursday’s broadcast.

The invitation comes during a hot stretch for the promotion. TNA recently drew its highest viewership since debuting on AMC, boosted by the Hardy Compound’s “Righteous Deletion” match.
